It’s playoffs time, which means that Kevin Durant has little use for the standard version of the Nike KD V anymore, having switched into Elite mode. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t new version of the sneaker still lurking around out there, as evidenced by this player exclusive pair for the highschool squad of the La Lumiere Lakers. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made the transition from sports entertainment icon to action film superstar look rather easily, hasn’t he? We can attribute his hardcore devotion to fitness as one of the primary reasons why he’s constantly hand-picked to play lead roles in action-packed films, but before he was taking down criminals or laying smackdowns on jabronis, he was making hits on the field for “The U” aka the University of Miami. Under Armour recently presented this sick PE of the UA Spine BB to The Rock, using the signature Hurricanes colorway of green, orange, and white and featuring Johnson’s 94 jersey number on the tongue. Air Jordan XI “Columbia” – OG Michael Jordan PE

One of the little differences that separated the OG Air Jordan XI retail pairs from the PE ones was the occasional appearance of the stitched on numbers for the back end. Of course, the retail version had the numbers as well-they were just applied in a slightly different manner. Shown here is an Air Jordan XI “Columbia” featuring that detail, one that appears to have been made for Michael Jordan himself. You’ll recall that that was a colorway MJ brought out at that year’s NBA All-Star, so there’s a slight chance that this may even be that very pair. Continue reading to see the 23-stitched PE of the Air Jordan XI “Columbia” for Mike and then get a look at the price from mattmontero23 on eBay.

It would be difficult to jot down all the Air Jordan 1 samples and colorways that existed back then, because who knows how many different styles of tooling Nike used before it released out into the public? This Air Jordan 1 you see here might look like the general Red/White/Black colorway, but these were apparently a PE for Michael Jordan himself and features a lot of subtle differences from the released version. For one, these Air Jordan 1s uses a Nike Dunk outsole, but other nuances that you may not notice is the use of Air Jordan Wings logos on both the medial and lateral sides of the ankle and a slightly shorter height than the Air Jordan 1. On top of that, this PE is autographed by MJ himself. Check out this rare piece of Air Jordan memorabilia below!
