Nike always loves to celebrate the accomplishments of some of their athletes and this year no one performed better on the NBA court better than Los Angeles Lakers superstar and MVP, Kobe Bryant, although he couldn’t bring that ’ship back to LA he did bring home a highly coveted NBA regular season MVP award; and to celebrate the feat, Nike has come up with an MVP Edition Nike Zoom Kobe III in White, Purple, and Varsity Maize to match the Lakers’ home uniforms. The shoes will come specially packaged in a lasered acryllic case, MVP t-shirt, and are limited to a handful of Asian countries as well as some LA retailers including Proper, who will be releasing them today, Saturday June 28th.

The Air Max 95 revolutionized running shoes and has stood as a favorite for runners and sneaker heads alike for over a decade. The latest Nike Quickstrike release takes the classic Air Max 95 in a striking Black and Yellow colorway and adds the graphic of a city skyline to the side of each shoe. Notice that the skyline is a black against a fading yellow, this was the exact scene back in Summer of 2003 where the North East experienced a massive power outage or a “black out”. This Air Max 95 certainly brings back some memories of those days when the NYC was in chaos but many were brought closer. Be on the look out for these to hit your nearest Nike Quickstrike accounts soon! Available now at Goliath

The MLB season is well underway and we are only a few weeks away from the annual Mid-Summer Classic otherwise known as the Major League Baseball All-Star Game which will be held in New York for the first time in over thirty years. Most baseball fans or common sports enthusiasts’ know that this is also the Yankees’ last season in Yankees Stadium before they move across the street to the new stadium. In order to celebrate the All-Star Game as well as pay homage to Yankees Stadium, Nike has come up with a Air Force 1 High Quickstrike inspired by the New York Yankees. The shoe itself has some direct references to the Yankees such as the colors, pinstripe upper, and “NYC ‘08″ lace lock. Look for these to hit select Nike retailers on July 4th. via Nice Kicks

The Air Stab is one of the often overlooked retro running models from Nike, part of it is due to the fact that Nike is so focused on the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and now maybe even the Structure Triax 91. None the less it’s always good to see the Air Stab getting some love from the folks out in Beaverton who cooked up this US Quickstrike Infared Air Stab featuring elephant print on parts of the upper, Infared cement print on the heel guard, and canvas like material on the toe box. The shoe also features, Runnin’ Gunnin’, on the heel; from what it looks like the shoe will be released alongside a Runnin’ Gunnin’ t-shirt. This shoe/pack reminds us a lot of the Running Man Pack from a few months ago when various running shoes were released in conjunction with matching apparel. No word on when these will be hitting Nike retailers but we’ll be sure to keep you updated. via Hangtime

We just showed you the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “720 Degrees” themed after the 1986 Atari video game. Here is the other Dunk that is a part of the Nike SB May Quickstrike pack, and this one we’ve been talking about for a couple weeks now since we first gave you a preview. This shoe is an interesting concept in that the shoes were inspired by Dutch painter, Piet Mondrian, and feature a White canvas upper with colors and lines that are similar to Mondrian’s paintings and style. You can pick these up during the Month of May at select Nike SB retailers.

The Nike SB stories get better and better by the release, especially with the Dunks. While Nike has focused predominantly on crafting the Dunk into masterpiece this year the folks in Nike’s SB department have focused on putting out meaningful models that have a good story behind them. Regardless if you skate or not this 720 Degrees Nike SB Dunk uses a good mix of vibrant colors that are inspired from the 1986 Atari video game. These Dunks are part of a Nike SB Quickstrike pack that will be hitting SB retailers in the month of May; the other shoe is the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Piet Mondrian”.

The Nike Terminator made a lot of noise these past few months especially with the release of the VNTG Terminators that were an added bonus to the Be True to Your School VNTG Dunks. Now it seems Nike wants to bring the Terminator some more love by giving it it’s very own Quickstrike Color Pack. The Quickstrike pack consists of three Terminator High’s in Powder Blue, Orange/Red, and Green. The shoes have outsoles that are a lighter tone of their upper color but the best thing about these is the tonal Safari print on the heels of each shoe. These are a Quickstrike release meaning you can only pick them up at select Nike retailers. They are now available at select retailers including eBay.

Not a lot is known about these new Quickstrikes from Nike, other than that they’ll be an upcoming summer release. Available colorways will be black, white, and medium grey, with nice high-grade leather encompassing the entire shoe, inside and out. The swoosh and back logo will be constructed of suede, with a full gum sole to accentuate the overall minimalistic look. The velcro straps, perhaps the central feature of this shoe, are very reminiscent of earlier models such as the Court Tradition and Stan Smith. With high quality materials and a keen attention to detail, hese kicks promise to be a stylish, yet simple pair of shoes for the summer. Via Shoeciety

We just showed you a new pair of Nike Air Max 90’s in Neutral Grey and New Blue and now we have pictures of two more Nike AM90 Euro Champs models that will be released as Quickstrikes (QK) in early May within the US. They will also be available in the Nike Members Only Store. These two also feature the splattered midsoles and both use simple color blocking mixed with the midsole splatters to give it an extra feature, and the best part about both of these 90’s is that they both feature mesh toe boxes. The Black and Varsity Red pair is believed to be inspired by Germany while the Anthracite and Varsity Royal pair is believed to be inspired by Sweden. We’ll keep you updated with when these hit retailers here in the US.
