reebok ers 2000 returns spring 2014 01 Reebok ERS 2000 Returns for Spring 2014

Given that the Inferno, LX 8500 and a few others got a bit more attention in the latter part of the year, the early 2013 return of the Reebok ERS 2000 happened rather quietly.  Reebok Reserve looks to draw some more attention to this classic runner once treated to an orange scented collab by Solebox, by giving us three new styles that all find that sweet spot between today’s styles and the original look.  Click in for closer views of blue, grey and white pairs and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability.

If the Reebok Insta Pump Fury isn’t the Gazelle brand’s single most popular shoe of all time, it still might be the one with the most recognizable colorways.  It all started with originals like the ‘Firecracker Red’ aka ‘Citron’ and ‘Tricolore’ makeups, and there have been a select few that over the years have joined this elevated canon.  Like the ‘Jackie Chan’ pair we just examined, this ‘Y2K’ edition as pictured above is one of those, a style that came out around the turn of the millennium and has since been reprised on the HLS Pump Fury.  You’ll have a chance at it in OG form shortly as they’re currently selling over in Japan, so click in for a closer look and let us know which is your favorite Insta Pump Fury ever.

In terms of kung fu gods wearing classic sneakers, Jackie Chan and his Reebok Insta Pump Furys are right up there with Bruce Lee in Asics or the grandpa in Three Ninjas and his Nike Air Huaraches. Chan has actually been sported in a couple of different colorways of this Reebok model: one of them being this white/yellow/grey and the other one being that “Firecracker” that’s most commonly associated with the silhouette. reebok kamikaze aztec 01 Reebok Kamikaze 1 Aztec

There’s a new Reebok Kamikaze 1 coming your way on Friday, April 25th. The colorway in question is this one, which will be available in full family sizes – a rarity for the Kamikaze. We’ve been unsure on the theme for this one for a while now, but with the official imagery comes the word that the patterned “Aztec” laces are meant as a nod to Shawn Kemp’s 1995 NBA All-Star appearance and the South West theme of that event. Take another look at them below and watch for these sneakers to release at spots like City Gear, Shoe City, Villa, Shiekh, and Cool J’s for $115 ($90 GS, $70 PS).
