Solebox is no stranger to crafting their own colorups for Saucony shoes. As a matter of fact, they’re no stranger to the Saucony Shadow 5000, having already worked with the model once before in 2013 via their “Three Brothers Pack”. This next joint on the way from them looks be a bit of a darker affair, with the color pushed onto the insides via the super bright lining. There’s no word yet on a specific theme surrounding the sneaker, but as well all know the Solebox team loves to tell stories with their releases, so expect more on that soon. LunarLon is Nike’s cutting edge cushioning technology, and everybody has their favorites in each category. As far as Nike Running goes, the LunarGlide is an annual institution and has given rise to multiple offspring, but some would argue that there’s no finer Lunar runner than the Glide’s upmarket counterpart. The Nike LunarEclipse+ 4 is the latest iteration, and brings back the pronounced heel counter and side panel reinforcements that makes this line distinct. Both have been altered by lightweight improvements in the form of cutouts and Dynamic Flywire, respectively, and you can see a whole slew of mens and womens colorways after the jump. Stick with Sneaker News for release info; with the LunarEclipse 3 having arrived this spring, a first quarter 2014 drop seems likely.

The New Balance 890v3 has released in no shortage of neck-breaking colorways since debuting last year. This 9oz REVlite-cushioned third revision to the NB890 comes forward today with a style that from the second you see it, you’re likely to think ‘South Beach’. There’s more overlap with the Nike LeBron series as the midsole takes on a faceted, jewel-like graphic, but a quick glance at the heel or insole reveals these are in fact the ‘Tokyo’ 890s. Check them out up close after the jump, then grab yours at shops like SNS.

Nike is synonymous with its Air Max running series. And while New Balance or Asics heritage releases might have the tightest correlation with suede and mesh atop time-tested wedge soles, it’s not like Beaverton just came up with the most influential line of running sneakers out of thin air. Models like the Nike Air Solstice predate the Tinker Hatfield era, and Nike Sportswear is doing a great job of giving these veterans the spotlight they deserve with premium builds like this latest Quickstrike. Let us know how this Court Blue Solstice compares to the ‘Reflective’ QSes that hit last year, and stick with Sneaker News for release info.
