Visvim has made its name by adding distinctive twists to classic styles and this newest collection is a perfect example. The Visvim Beuys Trekker Mini-Folk takes the classic Wallabee-like moccasin toed chukka and adss a few tasty touches. These four pairs each follow the same formula: rich suede upper with irregular toebox shaping to enhance the handmade look, a plastic cup on the heel in an accent colour and the same colour replicated on the embroidery of an otherwise white tongue tag. All of them also feature the Clarks’ signature crepe soles, but these look a bit stiffer than the OG Wallabees. There are three pairs in various shades of brown and another in black. The lightest brown pair features purple accents while the others have red and the black pair opts for blue. All three of these are ready now at F.I.L. via HB

Clarks’ 50th anniversary celebration isn’t the only reason the desert boot is receiving some well-deserved attention this year. The Aaron Rose x DC Artist Project is the second in what is becoming an annual collaboration between the Beautiful Losers creator and an increasingly collabo-happy skate company. The pack contains a green midtop witha red stitch around the ankle collar area plus a tan lowtop. Both feature plaid linings and a teardrop-patterned outsole. The inspiration is said to be 1950′s British ‘Mod’ culture, but the boxes are styled similarly to last year’s. Visvim has been hot in the upscale lifestyle sneakers and shoes market for long enough to be a recognized leader in this category. Their influence is so pronounced that even Clarks is taking design cues from this model to celebrate the 60th anniversary of their legendary Desert Boot. The Visfim FBT Lattice appears here in five new colours. The red and blue pairs are the standout pairs, but you can’t go wrong with new editions in black, white or brown. While they’ve been a mainstay on the streets since the mid 90s thanks to a push from Ghostface Killah and other hip-hop stars, it’s still crazy to think that Clarks Originals has been around for sixty years. It was back in 1949 when Nathan Clark combined rough suede with crepe soles like the ones he’d seen while stationed in Cairo. Today, these new models take the Desert Boot design to new heights with a dope pack of crazy fabrics and patterns. From the classic beige suede to a model with a paisley print, these six new pairs are sure to find favor with a wide variety of buyers. We showed you tattoo-inspired Japanese artist Usugrow’s collaboration with Vans back in February and they’ve finally dropped. The first of three pairs we’ll show you today is the Usugrow x Vans AV Sk8-Low. These joints are all black like the other pairs and feature embroidered textures on the side panels and pressed into the midsole There’s a nifty little flower on the tongue tag and a translucent sole revealing a script that matches the insole rounds out the custom touches. Throw all that in a special edition box that depicts a sultry skeleton and you can grab em now from Caliroots.

We’ve seen a ton of colourful boat shoes and chukkas this year, so these new pairs will fit right in. The Visvim Folk FBT Lhamo is anything but lame in six new colours. There are two in different shades of brown and one in navy blue, but the red, yellow and orange joints are very bright. All six feature the signature ‘collar’ and moccasin style lacing and will be available later this summer. via Shoes Master

We saw the blue pair of these a couple days back and thanks to Freshness, we can now see a close-up of each pair in the pack. The Stussy Deluxe x Dr. Martens Desert Boot is one of the most luscious releases we remember. Appearing in three different shades of rich suede, these find contrast in a coloured heel strap that matches a stripe on the eye-catching white sole. These joints will each come with a tonal lace pack in addition to one that matches the accent colour and all three are set to drop this August.
