Can’t make it to Paris this weekend for the Supra Skytop II release at colette? No problem. Well, that is, if you’re a size 11.5. The Chad Muska’s second signature Supra is set to drop on November 21 exclusively at France’s best sneaker boutique, but you can try your hand at this sample pair and use what you save on airfare for shipping and handling. It appears that these were plucked from the colette set, so their ’sample’ status mostly reflects their yet-to-be-available status. Thrasher x CONS – ‘Prevent This Tragedy’ Collection

Converse’s new skateboarding line, CONS, makes its first collaboration with skate magazine, Thrasher. To coincide with the release of Thrasher’s new video, ‘Prevent This Tragedy’ which is to be included in their January issue, CONS has created a pack of new CTS Ox and Mids. All the shoes feature plain black canvas uppers, complimented with colored fixing stripe. One pair features a gum midsole, while the Mid features a ‘Prevent This Tragedy’ graphic. Custom graphics made by Ethan Fowler were created for the insoles. Released yesterday, these are now available at select retailers. via Hypebeast.

With that ‘MUSKA 002′ on the tongue, is Supra trying to tell us that Chad is as smooth as James Bond, or that they intend to extend the Skytop line into the triple digits?! We’d have to lean toward the former of those two, though the new Supra Skytop II in metallic gold patent leather is flashier than anything the MGM franchise character ever wore. They have a lightly pearlized finish that keeps the upper from blinding you, while black and white accents are pretty much the only thing stopping you from floating straight into the sun. Cop this small sample pair in US men’s size 6, well in advance of their retail release from d_is_rolling on eBay.

STPL x Airwalk Terrain Hi Skate – Star Trek Starfleet Edition

Back in May, STPL Design had the only to help create a Star Trek Airwalk Terrain Hi, along with an entire STPL x Airwalk collection. To help coincide with the release of the new Star Trek DVD tomorrow, Airwalk has asked STPL to drop a new run of Star Trek shoes. Dubbed the “Starfleet” collection, the Terrain Hi’s feature suede and ballistic nylon riptop, with colorways are induced by the uniforms worn by the various Star Trek members. The pack is now available at STPL’s Reed Space, as well as all Payless locations, with the gold colorway a Payless online-exclusive.

R. Crumb x Vans – Chukka Boot – Modern America

We’ve seen how Vans loves to pay homage to artists who have paid their dues. Vans has already established a collection for comic book pioneer, R. Crumb, and now Vans adds another installment to the collection. This time designed around a Chukka, the crisp white upper (supposedly nubuck) is garnished with black stitching and stripe on the foxing. With graphics solely found on the back of the heel, the choice of illustration best depicts R. Crumb’s history of social satire and scrutiny of American life. Lavished with a cream-colored lining just waiting to be broken in, along with a choice of black or white laces. Definitely a clean design. via SoleRedemption.

With over 10 years of shredding, features in video games, and hustling to make a name for himself, it’s no wonder that Chad Muska’s signature Skytop shoe became such a success even in mainstream fashion. Here we have the first street sighting of the new Skytop II, being worn by the man himself. Known as the “Gradient” colorway, these will be a very limited release as part of the Supra World Tour. Nike SB Zoom P-Rod III – Takashi 2 Inspired – Spring 2010

If you were thinking these should be dubbed ‘Takashi 3′, we totally understand where you were going with that. While this would be the third ‘Takashi’-nicknamed Nike SBs, the upcoming P-Rod III picured above looks pretty much exactly like the Takashi 2 SB Dunk Low, and since the ‘2′ came from the gold/silver variation, now you can get a good sense of why these will be be refered to in parlance as ‘the Takashi 2 P-Rod 3s’. These don’t keep any of the tonal brown laser-etched leather from the famous aforementioned Dunk (though a well used ollie area will reveal a brownish ‘middle’ in the suede), instead relying on an entirely nubuck upper. They’re set for a January ‘10 release, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via N-SB.org
