Can’t make it to Paris this weekend for the Supra Skytop II release at colette? No problem. Well, that is, if you’re a size 11.5. The Chad Muska’s second signature Supra is set to drop on November 21 exclusively at France’s best sneaker boutique, but you can try your hand at this sample pair and use what you save on airfare for shipping and handling. It appears that these were plucked from the colette set, so their ’sample’ status mostly reflects their yet-to-be-available status. With that ‘MUSKA 002′ on the tongue, is Supra trying to tell us that Chad is as smooth as James Bond, or that they intend to extend the Skytop line into the triple digits?! We’d have to lean toward the former of those two, though the new Supra Skytop II in metallic gold patent leather is flashier than anything the MGM franchise character ever wore. They have a lightly pearlized finish that keeps the upper from blinding you, while black and white accents are pretty much the only thing stopping you from floating straight into the sun. Cop this small sample pair in US men’s size 6, well in advance of their retail release from d_is_rolling on eBay.

With over 10 years of shredding, features in video games, and hustling to make a name for himself, it’s no wonder that Chad Muska’s signature Skytop shoe became such a success even in mainstream fashion. Here we have the first street sighting of the new Skytop II, being worn by the man himself. Known as the “Gradient” colorway, these will be a very limited release as part of the Supra World Tour. Supra X Armored – Limited Edition Supra Vaider

Here is a look at a limited edition Supra Vaider in collaboration with the upcoming movie Armored, staring Laurence Fishburne and Matt Dillon. These movie-inspired sneakers use colors from the movie and use some interesting materials as well. The upper is made of a carbon fiber material that contrasts off a rich red lather heel panel, and what appears to be 3M reflective side panels. If these Vaiders catch your eye it will be a bit tricky to obtain a pair, due to the fact there are only 30 pairs being produced for the cast and crew of the film. via Freshness

Supra Skytop 2 Intial Release @ colette

In the 2+ years since its release, the Supra Skytop has benefited from alot of social proof, both direct (Jay-Z forced folks to take notice in Rhianna’s ‘Umbrella’ video) and indirect (Air Yeezy, RT1 and a plethora of other very-hightops led to a full-fledged trend). For the sequel, another famous shoe set to re-release next year finds itself reappropriated. However obvious the Air Jordan VI (6) inspiration for the tongue you see on this Supra Skytop 2, it’s clear that the next generation is pushing fashion forward.

With a mix of tonal greys, black and bright red, they have just a touch of that ‘Staple’ vibe, but the horizontal stripes on the side panels make these feel like a breath of fresh air. 600 individually-numbered pairs will drop on November 21st at Paris’ colette, where Chad Muska will be on hand to sign autographs. Supra Vegan Pack – Holiday 2009

Despite the early canvas roots of most skate shoes, Supra is better know for their smooth leather and suede styles. In an effort to switch things up, Supra will be releasing some new versions of some of their well-known models, now using animal/eco-friendly canvas uppers. This upcoming canvas collection will be known as the “Vegan” pack and will feature new colorways of some Supra favorites like the Dixon, Diablo 1.5 and the Thunder High and Low. Keep reading for a better look at the canvas Vegan collection, and if you like what you see, you can expect these to hit Supra retailers this Holiday season.

Supra Holiday 2009 Releases

Supra has just begun to roll out their holiday 2009 lineup. Just released are: TK Society, Skytop, Vaider, and Suprano High, each in two different color ways. The TK Society comes in all black suede as well as burgundy leather. The Skytops are both full leather upper and come in red/black, and black/sky blue. The Vaider model has been released in a black/red colorway with a suede and patent leather upper while the black/sky blue version are a predominantly leather upper with suede heel accents. Last but not least the Supra Suprano has dropped with a grey/black color scheme with small red accents and a canvas and leather upper, alongside another version with a suede and leather upper in a bright purple with a bright green outsole accent. All colorways are available now online at CCS.
