After a few consecutive seasons, Nike Sportswear has fully established that when you hear the phrase “Nike Terminator High Basic“, you can expect classic two and three-toned looks with that unmistakable early ’80s vibe. These three new pairs for the Fall 2010 season go just a bit beyond what we’re used to seeing from the Basic Terms, adding striped laces to the mix. Each of the laces borrows from the upper’s colors, and you can choose from black/white/teal, red/white/blue or white/grey/red. These are out at Japanese retailer atmos already, so expect them stateside very soon.

The Nike Terminator’s high cut and plentiful lace-holes are akin to military style boots (despite originating has a basketball shoe), and this latest colorway of outdoor tones are pretty close to the army vest. Check out this upcoming colorway of the Nike Terminator High Premium, featuring a luxurious mix of suede and tumbled leather in a rugged colorway of light olive, brown, and white. Trail-inspired laces as well as hiking book lace hoops are also a part of this neat Terminator package. The last few Nike Terminator designs we showed you have either been plain to the bone or supremely guady. This latest pair women’s pair of Terms combines the showy with the simple, putting together a metallic white leather upper with special extra-long shoelaces. As if the Nike Terminator didn’t already have enough laceholes, the shoelaces actually utilize all the holes and have enough left to wrap your ankle a few times. The Nike WMNS Cheongsam Pack features colorful uppers with graphic print inspired by the design of women’s traditional Chinese dresses called Qi Pao or Cheongsam. The pack features a Blazer Mid, which we previewed recently, and two colorways of the Nike Terminator Low – one in pink and the other in a vibrant blue. The Neptune Blue colorway you see here features two tones of the pattern on the upper with a light-grey midsole and bright pink bottom sole for contrast. With a diamond-scaled snakeskin upper and super-high pointed tongue, last year’s SWAGGER x Nike Terminator High Supremes strongly resembled a curiously colored serpent. For better or worse, the SWG joints were popular enough to spawn a whole collection of mismatched kicks, but you may not have noticed the discrepancy between the released version and the first ones we showed you. That’s because both pairs clearly featured reptile uppers, but the original intention was to use crocodile.
That’s where this sample pair of the Nike Terminator directed by Swagger comes in, a reminder that not all changes improve upon their samples. With the brown left shoe in particular, the croc skin upper give a much richer appearance with a wider array of brown tones that compliment the aqua right foot quite nicely. The Nike Terminator Low Basic looks dope in its simply-colored leather releases, but here’s to seeing some more suede in future drops. That’s cos these two new pairs of Terminator Lows look superb with suede overlays complimenting a leather base. Both pairs have white underlays, and you can choose from a nice minty green/black combo or light grey and royal blue. Both pairs should be in stock here in the states shortly and they’re already available at Japan’s mita sneakers.

Apparently the designer behind the Nike Terminator Lux Snakeskin Pack had a tough time making finite decisions, because we’ve seen unreleased scrapped samples of both the Low and the High. The unreleased Low version features a black midsole and bottom sole with a ostrich-leather swoosh, a studded lace dubrae, and a detailed Nike branding on the heel. The White High version also saw revisions which left the production version. Check out these detailed images of the unreleased Nike Terminator Low Lux after the jump, but unfortunately, this sample pair was just sold by KonkreteJungle on eBay.
