Plenty of sneakerheads cite the feeling of being a kid again for the reason behind their collecting. You know, chasing down that one pair that mom wouldn’t let you buy or that you missed out on on release date. You know what else can make you feel like a kid again? Action figures. And if they revolve around the world of sneakers that’s two birds with one stone right? Recently we saw the RUN DMC x adidas Originals Superstar 80′s accompanied by vinyl figurines of Run and DMC, and of course there was the Nike Mag 2011 ceramic replica that served as a consolation prize to those who couldn’t get the real thing. The latest in toys for sneaker enthusiasts is this Spike Lee ‘Mars Blackmon’ action figure, with Spike represented as his character in the classic ad series that helped galvanize the Air Jordan craze. Sneaker News showed you the inside of Jordan Geller’s ShoeZeum over the past several weeks, a southern California collection that’s quite possibly the best in the entire world.  Or maybe second best is more likely, because up the coast in Oregon, the Nike Inc headquarters has its fair share of history on display.  Not only does the Beaverton campus contain countless vintage and unreleased items, but company CEO Mark Parker‘s office could easily be its own show-and-tell.  Photographer Steve Benisty got a chance to look around and snap a few shots, and if a picture’s worth a thousand words, you’d better save some time to digest this thesis on design.  Parker’s got everything from sneaker-themed art to larger than life photographs of Keith Richards and Jimi Hendrix, and with a tiny Kim Jong-il teapot for good measure.  You can see it all when you click on the jump below, and be sure to leave a comment to let us know what you think of Nike Inc. Ever wondered how a 1:12 model motorcycle gets around?  Apparently the answer is as simple as a tractor trailer to scale.  Check out this model of Aaron Yates’ Suzuki from Jordan Motorsports‘ 2008 season.  We first showed you a series of images of this lil bike last month and today we see deluxe package including a matching black big rig and number 20 helmet, all of which compliments the Air Jordan XX3′s signature side panel embroidery.  It’s a sweet look for a fast machine but unlikely to be seen on the track again because MJM has been riding in white/black a la the 2010 Air Jordan VI for a few seasons now, so how would you feel about a bike update to match a possible Air Jordan 2011 ‘Motorsports’?  Racing season is underway during the warm weather months but Sneaker News is always here bringing you the latest and you can see more of the above pictured bike when you click on the jump below.  via JordansDaily

Michael Jordan Motorsports was established on February 1st 2004, and during that first season, Montez Stewart rode Yamaha YZF- series bikes in AMA’s Superstock and Supersport classes.  Maybe Stewart’s injury that year was considered a bad omen, cos ever since 2005, Jordan Motorsports has hit the asphalt on Suzuki bikes like the one pictured above.  This Jordan Motorsports Suzuki represents Aaron Yates’ ride for the 2008 season during which he won five different races, its University Blue body inspired by the Air Jordan XX3 and its UNC-derived argyle pattern.  Click through to get a better look at this little bike and let us know how they compare to other Jordan motorcycles we’ve seen like the similarly-colored edition from last year’s ‘For the Love of the Game’ party at Atmos NYC.  via Kenlu
