Michael Jordan Motorsports was established on February 1st 2004, and during that first season, Montez Stewart rode Yamaha YZF- series bikes in AMA’s Superstock and Supersport classes.  Maybe Stewart’s injury that year was considered a bad omen, cos ever since 2005, Jordan Motorsports has hit the asphalt on Suzuki bikes like the one pictured above.  This Jordan Motorsports Suzuki represents Aaron Yates’ ride for the 2008 season during which he won five different races, its University Blue body inspired by the Air Jordan XX3 and its UNC-derived argyle pattern.  Click through to get a better look at this little bike and let us know how they compare to other Jordan motorcycles we’ve seen like the similarly-colored edition from last year’s ‘For the Love of the Game’ party at Atmos NYC.  via Kenlu

Air Jordan XI Titanium Metal Keyring

air jordan titanium keyring 04 Air Jordan XI Titanium Metal Keyring

If you like collecting little toys and trinkets, this might be right up your alley. Check out the Air Jordan XI Titanium Metal Keyring and Dogtag; it features a Titanium Metal mold of an Air Jordan XI and comes complete with a dogtag chain as well as a metal box for the shoes, and it appears you can attach either the metal shoe or the box onto the dogtag chain to wear around your neck. On the metal box is a Jumpman with ‘Ti’; the irony of this package is that Ti is number 22 on the periodic table of elements. Number 23? Vanadium, which might’ve been a better fit since its a metal with multiple shades of grey (like the Cool Grey XI). Check out the extra shots after the jump and hit up SneakerHotline to get ‘em.

WBF Jordan Figurines 1 Jordan Brand For the Love of the Game WBF Figurines @ Atmos Harlem

As you know, Jordan Brand is celebrating the World Basketball Festival in its own unique way with the recently launched ‘For the Love of the Game‘ campaign, paying tribute to MJ’s North Carolina roots and lifelong passion for the game that his name is now synonymous with. We’ve already seen the sneakers and apparel from the FTLOTG collection, but we now learn that there will be an unexpected bonus in the form of special collectible figurines, featuring Jordan Brand’s own “big 3.” Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul will be reppin’ for JB as intricately crafted photopolymer figures, each dipped in University Blue topped off by laser graphics.

A limited edition run of only 6 figurines of each player and will be available exclusively at Atmos in Harlem on Wednesday, August 11th. So unfortunately, only 18 lucky customers will be getting their hands on a Jordan FTLOTG figurine, but you can get a closer look at all three after the jump. If you like what you see, you’d better start making moves, because these will be gone forever as fast as the Atmos register can print out receipts.

Michael Lau – toy-maker and artist extraordinaire – opened up his own exhibit on July 16th called the MiXTRA.SHOE SHOP (SAMPLE) in Tsim Sha Tsui of Southern Hong Kong, displaying his “Mr. Shoe” character figuring in a number of different “costumes” and designs. The figurines, which can be best described as miniature Air Force 1s with tiny feet, were displayed all around the space; each figure was inspired by famous sneakers like the Air Jordan 1 and Run DMC x adidas Superstar or other memorable images, like the yellow “happy face”. Other Michael Lau pieces – t-shirts, watches, other figurines – were available for viewing as well. Check out the gallery of images of Lau’s exhibition opening after the jump and let us know which tiny figurine you like best. If you’re in the HK area, be sure to check out the space as well because it will no longer be available come August 1st!. via HB.

In February, New Yorkers were treated a historic art experience provided by African-born artist Kehinde Wiley and Puma; the event featured ‘Legends of Unity’ in which notable footballers from the continent wore special kits that symbolize the unity among the African countries. Coolrain, a Korean toy designer, was given the opportunity to create figurines of the three soccer players that were part of the Legends of Unity event; John Mensah (Ghana), Samuel Eto’o (Camerooon) and Emmanuel Eboue (Ivory Coast) were transformed into collectible toys and put up for exhibition. The toys are not available for purchase, but you can check them out by looking at the gallery of pics after the jump. It’s a definite treat considering we’re in the middle of World Cup frenzy! via Streething/crazytoyz
