Who says toys are for children only? Here is the latest end-product of a collaboration between Converse and Offspring, a prominent shoe-shop based in the UK. Each pair of the All Star Hi 2 Straps comes with its own matching figurine of the Offspring mascot, which would be great supplement to any toy figurine collection, or especially if you’re into collecting Offspring toys, like the Offspring X Nike Safari or Offspring x Vans collaborations.
The first colorway consists of grey, aqua blue, and patent leather red with an Offspring figurine in the same colorway. The second pair in this collaboration takes slightly different design cues, utilizing a perforated middle panel and patent leather on the rear heel rather than the ankle straps, as evident in the grey/aqua/patent red pair. Despite their differences in color, both pairs provide fulfillment for the inner child in all of us.

Michael Lau created a crazy wood grain Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski to commemorate the tenth anniversary of his Gardner vinyl figurines. A set dropped in LA at the ‘Gardner Tenth’ exhibition, each pair of shoes along with a randomly coloured toy. Turns out that wasn’t the only chance you have at getting these maple-toned beauties along with a bright plastic companion. It’ll be an NY Fat 12″ figure in either purple, red, orange, green or one of two shades of yellow along with the kicks, now avaiable at Kix-Files.

Even though it’s not even Halloween yet, we wouldn’t blame you for thinking about the upcoming holiday season. adidas is prepared with their ‘Seasons Greetings’ Pack of Originals-level releases. Both in suede, a green Stan Smith 2 and red Superstar 2 each have the opposite colour accents plus some gold, giving them mild Gucci leaning. A Qee toy reminds us that these are actually Christmas-themed. Cop the shelltoes, Stans and the Santa miniature from Flauge.

British sneaker boutique Offspring got up with Nike Sportswear to create a pack of Safari Toys. There are two of these little guys, each rocking a safari-printed colourway from one of Nike’s Air Max 1 releases this summer. One goes the OG Safari route with orange, red, black and brown, while the other uses the updated yellow white and grey palette. Both will be given away with Nike purchases starting tomorrow. via FRESHNESS

It’s well-documented that the idea of Air Jordan Fusions is a touchy subject with a lot of sneakerheads, but in this case, some of you might have a slightly better reaction to this latest Air Jordan hybrid. This remote controlled Camaro has been customized to take on the characteristics of the Fire Red Air Jordan III, from the layout and color-blocking, right down to some panels of Elephant print wrapping around the hood and trunk areas. This is not the first time that the similarities between car and sneaker design has been so evident, but this example certainly shows off a pretty seamless transition. To really make this concept legit, actual laces have been included across the roof section and even a mock Air Jordan hangtag has been created with the Jumpman logo holding a Chevy symbol instead of a basketball. Back in February, UK sneaker retailer Offspring created some cool vinyl figures of their mascot character and now the little guy is back as part of a collaboration with Vans to celebrate the release of the new Off the Wall pack. The figure sports a vintage Off the Wall logo t-shirt with Vans kicks and comes in a Vans branded box. The limited run of toys will be given away in all Offspring stores with the purchase of any pair of kicks from the Off the Wall pack that just dropped this weekend.

However flashy Lil Wayne’s CLVII-designed customs, they’re nowhere near as portable as these lil Skytops. Pictured above is the Supra Skytop keychains collection. They’re a bit larger than the photo, but not much, ensuring they can fit in your pocket with ease. There’s one each in gold (colour, not the actual metal), silver (not sure on this one) and black (duh). Each comes in a tiny drawstring bag, inside a mini Supra shoebox. Cop one or all of them today from Supra retailers including Premier.

Italian artist, Filippo Perin, is showing his love for fresh kicks with a series of incredible origami sneaker sculptures. The standouts of the bunch have to be the paper Air Yeezy’s in all three highly sought after colorways. In addition to the Yeezy’s, Filippo has also created paper versions of the Air Force 1 Mid and Low. All the sculptures are extremely intricate and the attention to detail can’t be questioned.
