Nike Trainer 1 – Chien-Ming Wang PE

Statistically, Chien-Ming Wang didn’t have such a great 2009 season, but he’s got nothing to complain about. In addition to a World Series ring with the Yankees, Wang has also just received another Nike PE. You might remember his Air Max 1 PE from a few months back, and now coming on the heels of the New York Yankees Trainer 1, he gets his very own personalized pair. The shoe features a Navy and White Yankees color scheme with a pinstriped heel panel and the Chinese character for his name stitched on top. Some additional accents like multi-colored lace loops add a little extra spice to the shoe, and once we get a look at the tongue, there are sure to be some more touches of interest. Nike Air Trainer SC 2010 – White – Black – Varsity Red – Preview

Back in June, we gave you an early sneak peek of the new updated version of the classic Air Trainer SC, and now we bring you a look at another upcoming colorway. The Air Trainer SC 2010 takes the basic design of the original SC model and equips it with some new Nike technology like Flywire and a Free sole, as well as a large visible Air unit in the heel. This version sports a combination of White mesh and Black patent leather on the upper, with a White midsole and some subtle Varsity Red accents. There is no word yet on specific release details, but it seems safe to assume that these will drop alongside some of the other new Trainer SC 2010 colorways some time this coming spring. Via NT.

Nike Trainer 1 PE – Larry Fitzgerald + Troy Polamalu

What does the Superbowl, video games and Nike’s new Trainer 1’s have in common. They have all been now graced with the presence of two football giants. Last season’s Superbowl was one for the records as Larry Fitzgerald and the Cardinals took on Troy Polamalu and the Steelers. Subsequently, the two juggernauts were featured on the latest edition of Madden NFL 10.

As if these two scenarios were prestigious enough to their careers, Nike is now privileging these two gifted athletes with their own Nike Trainer 1 PE’s. The shoes pretty much speak for themselves. Technological progressive footwear sporting the team colors of each respective player. Both the Fitz and Polamalu PE’s already available on the NikeStore, these two are just some more great athletic inspirations to add to the roster of this new trainer.

With a huge victory for Manny Pacquiao, obtaining an unprecedented 7-span weight reign, it would be smart for Nike to continue to push for their new Trainer 1, such as this selection with a mid-cut. The pair mixes an array of material choices- leather, nubuck and patent – for a very classic look. The black with gold and white is just as classic, also appropriately timed, abstractly representing Pacman’s victory over adversity. Available now from ID4shoes on eBay.

Manny Pacquiao x Nike Trainer 1/360 – New Photos

Apparently, in boxing, the answer is ‘Yes’ when the question posed reads: ‘Is it the shoes?’ To be honest, there’s alot more behind Manny Pacquiao’s unprecedented seventh world championship in as many weight classes, but we did see him training in a pair of Nike Trainer 1 x 360s. They’re pretty much the same as the ‘Philippines’ Trainer 1 that sold out immediatly upon hitting NikeStore this Saturday, but instead of a Free/Air setup, this sole goes with the Air Max 360 cushioning unit. No word yet on their release, but if Pac-Man keeps winning gold there will just have to be more kicks, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via SC

Manny Pacquiao x Nike Trainer 1 ‘Philippines’

Good morning, Manny Pacquiao, and congratulations on winning the world title in an unprecedented seventh weight class! Ok, so chances are the Pac-Man is a little too busy today to check the streetwear blog circuit; he deserves to sleep in after that kind of effort (and what an impressive year!). Then again, Manny already has several variations on these, so it’s you who needs to be up and at-’em this morning if you want to get your hands on the Philippines colourway of the Nike Trainer 1. These are basically the same as the ‘Lights Out’ edition, but instead of black and neon green, you get Pacquiao’s national colours. They sold out fast at NikeStore but you might be able to find them at your local Nike Sportswear retailer. via FRESHNESS

Nike Air Trainer 1 – White – University Blue – Sample

When a shoe you’re looking forward to doesn’t make it to retail for some reason, it can be among the worst feelings a sneakerhead can ever feel. Then again, there is an undeniable silver lining, especially for those with size 9 feet: samples are, by definition, rare, and let you expand your collection and/or rock some unattainable heat to make your entire social graph jealous. Enter the Nike Air Trainer 1, pictured above in a white and Carolina blue colourup we expected to see in stores a couple months back. The general public’s loss will be a lucky someone’s gain, as these joints just popped up available from verbdws on eBay.
