The new Nike Zoom Revis “Photo Blue” had a little bit of a release date hiccup on its way to retailers. The shoes were originally marked for a May 15th release date, but curiously got pushed back a couple of days on the official Nike release calender. Not to worry, as they’re here now in all their blue and white glory. NIke Zoom Turf Jet ’97 – Black – Metallic Gold – Pure Platinum

It appears that this new combo of Black and Gold will take over Nike Sportswear’s Turf-style shoes, with the Nike Zoom Turf Jet ’97 joining with the two Nike Griffey releases in this incredible “Elite Away” composition. The Turf Jet ’97 takes advantage of the gold, using the midsole pod to give the winning color some added pop, while the choice embroidery on the Swoosh gives these a sick Championship-like appeal. Last week’s Air Griffey Max 1 reveal gave us our first glimpse at the first Nike Ken Griffey Jr. trainers to utilize a metallic gold color. Here we see the Swingman line take on more of that elegant DMP look with the latest model applying a similar colorway. The Nike Air Max 360 Diamond Griff is a departure from the high energy Neo Turquoise style that released most recently, including a different blocking template that lends more emphasis to the gilded elements. For whatever reason, the Nike Zoom Revis is a shoe that’s been outfitted in all sorts of team colorways since its arrival. We’ve seen the sneaker take cues from the collegiate scene via the “Ducks” looks, and we’ve also seen it sporting a couple nods to some NBA squads. This time around it’s the Chicago Bears who are honored in a design that was apparently created for Nike Design Director Ken Link. Nike Calvin Johnson CJ81 Elite TD – Officially Unveiled

Remember the Nike CJ81 signature sneaker for Calvin Johnson that we showed you? That design is of course rooted in a gridiron pair, the Nike CJ81 Elite TD Cleat. The shoe features a dnyamic midfoot strap (Not unlike that found on the Nike Zoom KD IV), a diamond star pattern hitting on various parts of the upper for a conformed fit, a full length speed plate, and an awesome “CJ” logo riffing on his “Megatron” nickname. The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 has enjoyed a renaissance in 2013, appearing in a handful of new colorways after last year’s quieter outing. Here’s another example of the AGM1 rendered in a fresh new style, as Junior’s first namesake Nikes gets the DMP treatment. In other words, this Air Griffey Max 1 comes in a palette with tons of momentum from last year, and stays in step with other recent AGM1s by going with an atypical material mix–in this case, metallic leather and suede.
