Calvin Johnson joins an exclusive club of wide receivers with signature training shoes the first Saturday of next month. That’s when the Nike CJ81 Trainer Max makes its debut in the Volt and Photo Blue makeup that remains the only colorway we’ve seen to date. Megatron’s first sigs arrive on Saturday, July 6th at select Nike Training retailers; how do they compare to the Zoom Revis, or to take it back to the top of the post, classic Randy Moss or Jerry Rice turf trainers (especially the basketball-inspired Air Ubiquitous Max, given the CJ81′s KD leanings)? Let us know what you think and stick with Sneaker News as we count down till the drop.

The Nike Zoom Revis “Denim” is releasing after all. The sneakers will be in stores this Saturday, June 15th, in all their lifestyle looking glory. Keep in mind that there’s a Pittsburgh connection going on here, one that’s on a bit better display in the last photo set we showed you for the sneakers. As you can see the inside of the tongue has them labeled as a supper limited 224 pair run, a pretty small number considering the fact that they’ll be available on Nikestore. See a couple renderings of the sneaker right after the jump and tell us if you’re impressed so far with the likes of the Nike Zoom Revis. Also, make sure you’ve got this pair’s Saturday release marked on your calender if you’re looking to cop.

The Nike Air Max Speed Turf was a sneaker that went in pretty deep with the NFL combinations for last year’s retro. We saw the colors of the Raiders, Giants, Dolphins, and the Cowboys all hit on the model in a pretty short span of time. It appears that Nike is done drawing from that well, as this black based, pastel accented random new release can’t really be pinned down with any such connection. Continue reading to for a full look at this new Nike Air Max Speed Turf release and grab them right now over at Eastbay.

As Wimbledon 2013 approaches, Nike’s got a crisp set of sneakers for their various ponies in the race (That would be Serana Williams, Maria Sharapova, Li Na, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Juan Martín del Potro). The group includes the Nike Zoom Vapor Tour 9, the Nike Air Max Court Ballistec 4.3, and the Nike Air Max Cage. Each of the sneakers stick with a silvery/white colorway, with the Cage amongst them being the only to sport some other color thanks to the Volt looking air bag treatment. Continue reading to see the full set of sneakers, let us know which of these Nike Tennis models you like the most, and watch for them on the Wimbledon courts in a couple of weeks.

We knew the Nike Air Revolution was returning in 2013 and now here’s the release info for the first drop. The Air Revolution reaches back to its 1988 OG ‘Tech Grey’ makeup, and while the VNTG treatment with subtly pre-yellowed midsoles is as unexpected as the colorway, it’s the two packmates that make this most intriguing. They don’t necessarily have the most direct ties to the Revolution, but the ’Auburn’ Air Trainer SC High and ‘Citron’ SC II are themselves known as Bo Jackson signatures (and both available fairly recently). One classic basketballer and two cross-training pillars come together with light antique touches this Friday, June 14th, so stick with Sneaker News to see if the trio hits shops in addition to Overkill.

The Nike Free Trainer 7.0 evolved from its initial form into the weather-ready Shield edition, and now a new design with one of Nike’s most prominent modern technologies. This Free Trainer 7.0 applies vibrant accents to a black upper, which really highlights the Current Blue Dynamic Flywire cables integrated into the lacing system. The Nike Free Trainer 5.0 V4 was built from the ground up to excel in two-toned colorways. Here we see a wWhite/Blue Hero and a Cool Grey/Sonic Yellow mix take advantage of this beautiful interplay, zigging and zagging across each other on the woven elements, laces and toe to create a crisp and cool option for your summertime training regimen, while the basic Black/White offers up a no-frills option. These will drop this month, which means you’ll have these for most of the dog days as we head toward another fall sports season. Check them out in more detail below and stick with Sneaker News for the latest on U.S. release info.

The Nike Zoom Revis looks to be already getting away from the performance angle just a bit, as the shoes have popped up featuring a tough, denim look. The whole denim thing is obviously a big thing at the moment for the Nike camp, as the Nike LeBron X EXT is set to make some waves this Summer using that same lifestyle leaning material. This latest photo set also shows off a “Pitt” theme, with the insoles stamped with Revis’ Aliquippa hometown (Which falls in the Pittsburgh metro area). Get the extra angles on this Nike Zoom Revis “Denim” after the jump and stay tuned should they end up a retail release.
