The latest pair keeps simplicity intact as a white leather base let’s an Americana theme of red and blue play with metallic silver accents. Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB – Light Charcoal – Black – Dark Grey

nike flyknit trainer chukka fsb light charcoal black grey 01 Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB Light Charcoal Black Dark Grey

Last week was a big one for the Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB as the all white rendition was arguably the most coveted variety of the winterized Flyknit sneaker yet. That pair was rather limited, but perhaps this Light Charcoal colorway will prove that the sneaker warrants a wider release. The idea of Flyknit functioning on a boot is still a new one, as this time last year the fact that a basketball sneaker (we’re looking at you Nike Kobe 9 Elite) featuring the material still seemed like a crazy idea. How would it work? Is it stable or supportive enough? Nike continues to expand the technology and with more Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB colorways arriving, do you plan on grabbing a pair? We’re still waiting on this Flyknit Trainer to arrive stateside, but the good news is that overseas retailers like Size? already have them in stock so they should be headed our way sooner than later.

Nike Air Force 1 Mid – Medium Olive – Sail – Light Brown

October 13th, 2014 by | No comments

nike air force 1 high medium olive sail light brown 01 Nike Air Force 1 Mid Medium Olive Sail Light Brown

The Nike Air Force 1 Mid has remained rather untouched this fall, as the lunarlon donning successors and Sneakerboot renditions have occupied most of the release calendar. And while the Duckboot style remains one that Nike is intent on not bringing back, they are willing to reference the boot aesthetic atop the Air Force 1 Mid in the latest release, featuring a premium Medium Olive leather finish to coincide with a gum bottom. The surprise here is that Nike left the branding in a pristine white to still give it a sneaker aesthetic despite the boot inspired laces and overall tonal fall color palette. Grab a better view of this Nike Air Force 1 Mid after the break and expect this pair to arrive at select shops on November 1st, 2014.

Nike Air Max Trainer ’91 – Black – University Red

October 8th, 2014 by | No comments

nike air max trainer 91 black university red 01 Nike Air Max Trainer 91 Black University Red
When thinking of sneakers that released in 1991, one usually pinpoints two Swoosh classics in the Air Jordan 6 and the Nike Air Huarache, but the year was loaded with a number of other releases that are set to get the retro treatment 23 years later. Bo Jackson’s sneakers are as dominant in the retro category today as the man was on both the baseball diamond and football field in his prime. His Nike Air Max Trainer ’91 has readily donned a few colorways here and there this year (although 2013 served as a nice revamping year as the shoe returned in a Raiders and Eagles aesthetic to help usher in Nike’s merchandising rights). This Black/University Red look isn’t as loud as past views – think of the shoe randomly taking on a South Beach colorway – and the “Chicago”-esque treatment showcases the silhouette quite nicely. What do you think? Stay tuned for more photos after the break and grab your pair today from Sneaker Politics.

Nike Air Huarache Light “White Perf”

October 7th, 2014 by | No comments

nike air huarache light white perf 1 Nike Air Huarache Light White Perf

For all of the strong showings the Nike Air Huarache has seen within the last year, it looks like the Nike Air Huarache Light is just warming up. There’s the monochromatic style of the “Deep Burgundy Safari”, a pair that introduces the silhouette to an near-iridescent take on Tinker Hatfield’s infamous print, as well as the potential of Size? cleverly outfitting the sneaker in a “Mowabb” like colorway. The latest pair ditches any reference of another Nike sneaker atop the Hurarche Light for a clean white mesh and perforated leather combination. Judging by how bad people want that Nike Air Huarache to arrive in the states, this pair looks to garner a similar sort of attention. Stay tuned for more updates regarding this colorway and catch a full shot after the break.
