Nike’s not one to let an anniversary slide past without due celebration which is why 2015 will be such a special year for the brand. The Nike Air Max 90 will be celebrating its quarter century of being one of the most important and unique running shoes to hit the market, as it’s given us an infinite amount of great colorways atop the world’s most unique midsole. Today we get a look at a cork upper atop the Air Max 90, while the rest of the aesthetic retains that infamous Infrared inspiration. We’ve seen the Swoosh utilize the material before, as the likes of the LeBron 10 EXT featured a NSW turn with an all cork upper and the Jordan Spiz’ike has even seen the material via NIKEiD, but what do you think of the AM90 taking on the material? Stick around after the click to see a full look at this special edition Air Max 90 and let us know if you’re feeling this pair in the comments section.

The Sneakerboot aesthetic knows no bounds. The Wheat-coloring of Swoosh models has been one of the major narratives this fall, as the likes of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Wheat” joined the ranks of a number of boot-bolstered models for either a more durable construction, or at least the appearance of one. The latest pair to get the look is this Nike Air Max 93, as a tan base and pebbled brown leather make for a perfect fall installment. The addition of Violet Force to the neoprene sockliner and touches of team red on the laces makes for a diverse look though, skipping out on the tonal look that most shoes are opting for when accepting a boot-like finish. What do you think? We’re still waiting on a stateside release date but hit the click for more photos.

Jeremy Lin is no longer a member of the Houston Rockets, but his time there did wield the benefit of getting in touch with Dwight Howard’s adidas connect. Now in sunny Los Angeles, Lin is a major part of adidas Basketball’s imprint expanding globally to Asian markets. To help the effort, the three stripes released two brand new adidas Crazylight 2 Low pairs with a Lin-PE flare. The shoes take cues from the adidas Originals Stan Smith on the tongue branding with Jeremy’s face printed on a patch reminiscent of the tennis classic while ‘JLin7′ text arrives on the outer ankle (despite him switching to number 17 for the LA squad). Which colorway is your favorite? We’re still waiting on a stateside release date but check out more photos after the jump.

UK retailer JD Sports dominance in the running department is well documented. They’re never shy about debuting an exclusive colorway for the Nike Air Max 95 and on the rare occasion, they’ll even give us a first look at some other formidable runners in a brand new aesthetic. Today it’s the Asics Gel Lyte III as the infamous split-tongue retro runner returns to form thanks to a simple, albeit effective, Nayv and Light Blue mock up. The 1991 model is perhaps at its best when donning a simple near-monochromatic finish as the accents are prone to stand out more while also allowing one to focus on the materials used (here it’s a mesh and suede construction). What do you think?┬áBe sure to stick around after the click for a better view of this obsidian Gel Lyte III and pick it up today from JD Sports.
