New Balance CT300 – July 2014 Releases

July 11th, 2014 by | No comments

new balance ct300 july 2014 releases 02 570x400 New Balance CT300 July 2014 Releases

While the New Balance CT300 is currently making a heavy push in Europe thanks to a number of collaborative efforts with respected shops like Firmament, hanon, and 24 Kilates, the low key tennis classic isn’t immune to some simplistic in-house creations. Much like the three stripe’s Stan Smith, the sneaker looks best when paired with muted tones as two new looks pop up for July 2014. One features an all off-white in a casual mesh and suede combination that hides the branding quite well as the heel gets a dose of royal blue. The second pair inverts the color scheme while giving the back heel panel a cool grey. What do you think? Continue onward for more images of the New Balance CT300 after the click and just incase you can’t wait for the stateside release date, grab your pair from international sellers like Hype DC.

nike air tech challenge 2 pixel court Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 Pixel Court Release Date

Footaction will have this Nike Air Tech Challenge II up for grabs tomorrow at 8AM EDT online. Most of the other Agassi pairs we’ve seen in 2014 haven’t had a concrete release date and this one looks to be the same, as tomorrow’s arrival isn’t marked on the official Nike calendar or anything like that. This OG colorway switches up the graphics a bit by placing some falling blocks on the back end instead of the typical splatter. Find them at Footaction here and check back in for more sneaker release dates on the daily.

James Worthy Speaks on the Return of His New Balance P740 “Worthy Express”

james worthy new balance interview 01 James Worthy Speaks on the Return of His New Balance P740 Worthy Express

There’s no doubt that New Balance is a brand most associated with running sneakers. The Boston based company has been in the footwear business for over a hundred years now, with the majority of their output consisting of models meant for the track, street, or trail. That’s not to say that they don’t have heavy hitters in other categories though. One need look no further than their partnership with Lakers legend James Worthy for evidence of that. In 1985 “Big Game James” became the brand’s first ever signature athlete following a million-dollar deal that marked the brand’s biggest foray into the world of basketball footwear, with the New Balance P740 being the first James Worthy sneaker to release. The partnership landed them plenty of exposure – the UNC alum would go on to win three championships with the Lakers in the 80s and was even named the NBA Finals MVP thanks to an incredible performance in 1988.

black sabbath converse chuck taylor july 2014 collection 01 570x399 Black Sabbath x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star July 2014 Collection

Sneaker culture is so wrapped up in hip-hop today that it’s never too surprising to see a brand work with an artist dominating the Bilboard charts. Whether that be the remnants from the early aughts sneaker boom or the holdover from Yeezy madness, it’s always a welcomed development when a brand deviates from the norm. Luckily we still have Converse to branch out and collaborate with some of the more iconic bands of past decades like their most recent pairing with Black Sabbath atop the ever-classic Chuck Taylor All Star. Featuring references to album covers like Never Say Die! and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, a third pair dons the ubiquitous grainy photo of Ozzy Osbourne front and center in concert holding up double peace signs. Be sure to check out more of this upcoming collaboration after the click and know that these pairs are available at select retailers today.

adidas zx flux slip on coming 2015 01 adidas ZX Flux Slip On Coming in 2015

adidas pulled out all of the stops for their patented ZX technology celebrating its 25th anniversary. But even with the resurgence of a bevy of late-80s runners, the true success story this summer has been that of the newly introduced adidas ZX Flux. The lightweight and breathable mesh upper has hit a sweet spot in terms of comfort and availability, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the three stripes have reworked the upper for a slip-on incarnation. Headed to retailers in 2015, the shoe features an aesthetic not too far off from something you’d see out of the Y-3 catalogue thanks to flexible elastic-like overlays. What do you think? Be sure to stick with us for more updates in the future and grab a full view of this upcoming sneaker after the click.
