jordan 11 lows releases april 2014 03 570x392 Air Jordan 11 Low April 2014 Retros Release Reminder

This weekend we’re being treated to not one but two Air Jordan 11 Low styles. With the Air Jordan 11 Low IE seemingly gone the way of the dodo, the more straightforward low cut is here to stay. With that being said these two aren’t really that straight forward – the GS “Aqua Safari” swerves around the patent leather approach and so does the “Green Snake” pair that will come in full family sizes. Stay with us after the break for a quick look at both pairs and remember that you’ll probably have some luck looking for what’s already available now on eBay.

NYC is getting some more Flyknit love in the form of the newly revealed Nike LunarMax Flyknit Chukka SP. This upcoming model, which combines a Flyknit upper in a Chukka silhouette with a Lunar-built Air Max 90 midsole, brings forward a brand new species to the Flyknit kingdom, but we’re honestly more interested in what could follow. Knit uppers with Air Max 1 outsoles? That’s a sight to see for sure, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for the latest on this development and we’ll let you know when these have a confirmed release date.

“Shooting Stars” Nike Air Foamposite One

shooting star foamposites Shooting Stars Nike Air Foamposite One

Tomorrow, the most well-received Foamposites in recent memory will hit stores. We’re obviously referring to the Black/Laser Crimson Pro model that have been dubbed the “Yeezy”, and like it or not, Nike delivered with that release. But that may be undone by another future Foam release – the “Shooting Stars” that was originally a PE for Penny Hardaway. This one’s got an all-white upper with Magical mixes surrounding the shoe, but we wouldn’t be surprised one big if some took the extra steps to create a “Pearl” Foamposite One (notes: the Pearls were originally white, not champagne gold like in the last Retro). In any case, we’re sure you’re dying for a release date, so we’ll have that to you once we get the confirmed info.

Is This Air Jordan 6 Retro Inspired By The 2014 World Cup?

April 18th, 2014 by | 10 comments

air jordan 6 world cup Is This Air Jordan 6 Retro Inspired By The 2014 World Cup?

The practice of pegging nicknames to sneakers has been around for a while. Sometimes, these titles are born internally, while others are a result of fabrication by the public. Recent chatter has called this upcoming Air Jordan 6 Retro as the “World Cup” given the rather obvious color similarities to Brasil’s Yellow and Green, However sensible that may sound, there are still a few reasons as to why that nickname falls a bit short; for one, the World Cup logo has dashes of blue and red (both of which are absent here), and the minty green paintjob on the heel of the midsole is hardly pertaining to the South American country. Official or not, these Air Jordan 6 Retros are beginning to pick up that World Cup moniker, but what do you think? Do these have any bearing to the 2014 football tournament? Check out the photos below and let us know your opinions.

sport blue jordans Air Jordan 6 Sport Blue New Images

It’s not often that we get to say Jordan Brand is bringing back an OG colorway for the first time, but 2014 is a special year. We’ve already received confirmation that the Sport Blue VI, one of the first batch from 1991, will indeed make a return this year (August 30th to be exact), and considering how popular the earlier Infrared joints were at retail, the Sport Blue will likely be a big attraction once it hits stores right at the start of the new school year. Are these a  must-have for your, or is these Jordans not high on your list? Let us know in the comments below.

reebok rail san atonio all star 01 Reebok Rail San Antonio

Reebok’s got another retro model that’s tied up in the colors of the 1996 NBA All-Star game. This time around it’s Glenn Robinson’s reborn Reebok Rail silhouette that gets the vibrant teal and pink combination. Of course Robinson wasn’t around the in All-Star game that year so this pair isn’t entirely historically accurate, but the colorway is a hard hitter regardless. Continue reading for some extra images and watch for this Reebok Rail colorway to arrive on Friday, April 25th at retailers like Finish Line, Champs, Jimmy Jazz, DTLR, Villa, Reebok.com for $100.
