As one of Nike’s oldest basketball styles, every once in a while, the Vandal High is released in Vintage versions that have the look of a shoe that’s been sitting in storage for the last 25 years or so. This latest wave of Vintage Vandal High Supreme releases will feature the classic nylon version of the shoe in two new colorways. While both take on certain “vintage” characteristics like the stained and yellowed midsoles, the color schemes look a little more contemporary than anything that was released during the era that these kicks are meant to embody. One pair sports a vibrant Electric Green nylon upper with a Medium Grey ankle strap and some touches of Black. The other Vintage Vandal High Supreme keeps it a little more low-key with a Medium Grey upper contrasted by Vivid Pink and Orange accents. Both pairs are slated for a February 2010 release, but you can check out some more pics after the jump in the meantime. Via Glltn.

Last week, we gave you a sneak peek at an upcoming Dunk High model that sports a silver Vandal-esque nylon upper and now it appears that they will not be alone in the Nike Fall 2009 collection. Two additional nylon colorways of what Nike is calling the Dunk Vandal Premium will also be on the way to retailers soon. One pair features a solid Black upper and midsole with Green Spark accents and a set of Zitron laces. The other colorway uses a Midnight Navy base with touches of New Magenta and Total Orange. As mentioned before, both of these Dunk Vandal Premiums, as well as the Silver/Blue/Red pair, will be coming to select Nike accounts soon, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

The Nike Vandal High is back with a subtle new colourway. These are all a cool grey, except for the Swoosh underlay, which looks like it’s probably a 3M reflective material. The upper is made of leather on the toebox, mesh on the side panels and toes, and a checkerboard leather on the rear sections. These look great with a white midsole, which really balances the neutral look. These have already hit select retailers in time for back to school or pick up a pair now on eBay.

A few weeks back, we gave you a look at a Terminator High model that uses a very similar design and color concept. Like the Terminator, this women’s Vandal High model sports the same heather grey t-shirt-like material on the upper with a black taped seam design outlining all of the edges. The shoe also features a white Swoosh and midsole, but the most intriguing addition is the inclusion of both red and purple removable straps. Ladies, if you like what you see, you can scoop up a pair right now at grip and keep reading for a detailed look at this creative style after the jump.

The Nike Vandal Low is back in perhaps its boldest incarnation yet, proving that the right design touches can transform an existing shoe into something new and refreshing. The shoe sports a black upper with sections of both smooth and patent leather and the heel panel and piping around the seams of the toe use a metallic silver material for some extra pop. The real highlight, however, is the decorative aqua and green line art graphics that surround the Swoosh and cover the toe box. These touches give the shoe an interesting new look that almost seems to give the Vandal Low a much more complex appearance. If these kicks are your cup of tea, they should be hitting stores next month.

Last week, we showed you a look at a Superman-inspired Air Classic BW and it appears that Nike isn’t finished paying tribute to some of our favorite superheroes. Obviously, you can’t have a Superman shoe without a pair of Batman kicks too. For the Batman edition, Nike chose to use the Vandal High, decking it out in an official Caped Crusader colorway. The shoe features a dark grey upper with black leather piping around the edges and a section of shiny black patent covering the entire heel panel. To finish off the Batman color scheme, there are some minimal yellow accents on the ankle strap and tongue label, as well as the contrast stitching on the midsole and the outline around the Swoosh. Unfortunately, these will only be available in boys’ sizes, so if you have kids or very small feet, you can pre-order a pair now on eBay.

We’ve seen Nike use hologram details on a bunch of sneakers this year, but this one is just for those with smaller feet. The Nike Vantal High GS appears above in an utterly eye-popping design. If the white leather upper, with its vivid pink piping weren’t enough, these also feature lime green eyelets and lining, plus bright orange laces. The unquestionable stars of the show, however, are the pearlescent Swoosh and hologram ankle strap that looks to have a lenticular texture. If you’re looking for crazy sneakers, look no further and cop these today on eBay. Photos via HighKickz

By now, the beloved Elephant Skin print has branched out from its Air Jordan III roots to grace the uppers of a number of other classic Nike models. It’s finally time for the Vandal High to flaunt some Elephant flavor, but it does so in a pretty subtle way. This Vandal High LE sports a solid Black upper with a combination of materials used in the construction. Smooth Black leather and sections of Black mesh make up the front of the upper with the heel covered with a Black on Black Elephant Skin pattern. Minimal White and Metallic Silver accents can be found on the strap and outlining the Swoosh among other places and a clean White midsole finishes off the look. If you’re feeling these, you can pre-order them now on eBay and they are expected to ship as soon as the end of the month.
