Another week of big sneaker stories is ready to close out, so here’s a recap of all that went down. Jordan Brand is re-introducing two-pair Packs in the form of the Air Jordan 1 Retro KO High “Rival Pack”, which is set to drop next month. LeBron rocks the LeBron 11 Low during All-Star Weekend, the KD 6 “Liger” and EXT “Floral” get plenty of love, and an unreleased BHM sample of the Kobe 8 kept Nike Basketball fans happy. The Nike Lil’ Penny Posite was intended to release during All-Star Weekend, but the date looks to be postponed – although a few copped their pairs. The Air Max 90 ICE is ready to hit stores, while UNDFTD announces a collaboration with Nike and two renditions of the Lunar Force 1. 510 Skateboarding’s Nike SB Dunk High is revealed to have been designed by Benny Gold, while some new Flyknit colorways are introduced in the Nike Women’s “Running DC” Collection.

Packer Shoes celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Blue Chips with a limited run of the Shaq Attaq, a detailed look at the upcoming “All-Star” adidas T-Mac 3 Retro surfaces, and New Balance introduces the “Fresh Foam” technology on their performance runners. Ewing confirms the release date for three silhouettes, while Asics got two new classic models just for the ladies. Saucony Originals has some great releases in the Grid 9000 and Shadow 5000 form, and Vans has two collaborations in the works. With 2014 being the 20th Anniversary of Air Jordan Retros, we detailed the twenty best of all-time. We also took at what OG Air Jordans have yet to re-release in Retro form. Nike finally released the Red October Yeezy 2s last Sunday, surprising everyone and anyone who was leisurely browsing through social media. All-Star Weekend is here, and that means one of the biggest weekend in sneaker releases. We brought you an exclusive look at some interesting set-ups by Jordan Brand like the Jordan Future and Flight Flex. Nike has some special build-outs ready as well, but the 3 Elite LeBron 11s might’ve distracted you a bit. Foamposites are going the Gold route with help from Safari print, while the Lunar Force 1 is next to get the Liquid Metal treatment. Some new Camo-based Air Max 1s are hitting soon, with one version being exclusive to Berlin with just 50 pairs available.

adidas brought out the Crazy 8 colorway inspired by the Kareem Blueprint, while Rick Ross’ mended relationship with Reebok takes form in a Shaq Attaq collaboration. The 1600 model is included in the New Balance Barbershop Pack, while Asics comes correct with the “Aztec” version of the GLIII and Epirus. Fila is back in the mix with the Kevin Johnson model, and Vans presents the latest from the LXVI collection. February’s here, and that means All-Star, BHM, and a ton of Jordan Retro releases to look forward to. In the Air Jordan category, we got a look at an Air Jordan VI sample designed by Kanye for his late mother Donda. LeBrons continue to be a big hit as we saw a “King’s Crown” edition that made use of a metallic finish on the upper. KD’s soaring stardom may put him at the #1 spot next year, while Kobe’s latest shoe is ready to unveil yet another tech advancement in Flyknit. Nike SB will celebrate the second release by Diamond, the Roshe Run gets a snazzy “Moypup” design, and another take on the Infrared Air Max 90 gets a confirmed release date.

2Chainz and adidas have something in the works for All-Star Weekend, while Reebok connects with The Distinct Life for a pair of GL6000s. Asics has a slew of great GR releases on the way, Vans always comes through with great LX releases, and New Balance gets ready for travel with the Passport Pack. 2014 promises a ton of Air Jordan 6 releases, like the “Championship Cigar” joints that celebrate MJ’s first title. A ton of Kobe 9 Elites are on the way, while the LeBron 11 EXT popped its head out for the first time. KD continues to run the league with the KD 6, and this week brought release dates for the upcoming Aunt Pearl joints! A first look at the Nike Lil’ Penny Posite surfaced, while the Nike “Urban Jungle Gym” Pack promises to bring back some legendary 90s releases. The Diamond Supply Co x Nike SB Dunk High promises to be a big release next week, while a first look at the all-new Nike Hyperfeel Trainer adds another Flyknit model to the growing collection.

Stash has a bunch of Reeboks coming out in 2014, while adidas continues to tell the story of Kareem. Asics has a ton of great releases coming in February like the duet of Valentines Day joints, while New Balance teamed up with J.Crew for one of the cleanest 998s yet. Vans and The Beatles came together for a nice set of releases commemorating the Yellow Submarine. Custom kicks were awesome with Jordans, LeBrons, and adidas Kobes being represented, while a look at 2 Air Jordan PE/Samples provided another look at what “could’ve” been. The new year promises plenty of new kicks, and the third week of January certainly did not disappoint. We were treated with a look at yet another PE for the Oregon Ducks dubbed the “JumpDucks” PE, while three new colorways of the Kobe 9 Elite as well a first look at the Kobe 9 Low were revealed. LeBron’s upcoming Elite model was also leaked, shedding light on some new details that gives the shoe that high-tech stance rivaled by none other. KD is currently on a hot streak, and his buddy Randy shed light on some sick gold PEs that may release in the future. Plenty of BHM PEs were revealed on Monday like the Hyperrev, Hyperposite, and Hyperdunk 2014. Nick Young was given the honor of debuting the Kobe 9 Elite in an NBA game, while Kobe was spotted off-court wearing an all-new colorway of his enticing high-top sneaker.

Nike brought back a special NYC edition of the Air Trainer Huarache, while Nicky Diamonds officially unveiled the Nike SB Dunk High “Tiffany”, confirming the 2/8 release date. Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci’s collaboration with Nike Sportswear was revealed to be around the Air Force 1 High, while Sneaker News gave you an exclusive first look at the Nike Flyknit Lunar2. adidas is going strong with the Crazy 1 aka The KOBE, with all-black and all-white releases coming down the pipeline. Reebok set a release date for the “Orlando” colorway of the Kamikaze 1, while New Balance’s general releases continue to impress. Extra Butter’s fifth and final chapter of the #DL5 was revealed, while Japanese label BEAMS completed its on Vans partnership. We worked up some special features about the Pro Bowl sneakers and the history of the Air Tech Challenge II, while sneaker customizers gave an interesting spin on some existing kicks. For those ready to get back into the act of copping kicks, this week revealed some great upcoming drops for you. Air Jordan Retros are already a dominating headine with the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” confirmed to drop this year, while Drake’s Retro PEs have stirred up a storm on eBay. Black History Month is arriving soon, and Nike/Jordan Brand have their kicks ready. LeBron continues to show off PE colorways of his Retro shoes, while the 7th Kobe Prelude shoe is due for a release. The “Floral” KD is looking sweeter than ever, while a release date for the KD 6 BHM has been confirmed. NBA Feet was a big hit with some special spotlight to Andre Iguodala and Nick Young, while the celebrities came through yet again – Wale showed up twice.

Nike Sportswear launched the Nike Knows Collection, while the Tiffany SB Dunk High got confirmed for a release on February 8th. adidas is bringing back several shoes new and old – the ZX Flux being a mix of both. Reebok promised 27 Pump Fury collaborations involving their Certified Network, a full Fall 2014 preview of Asics was revealed, and several great New Balance general releases continue to hit stores. Li-Ning celebrated Wade’s Birthday with a special edition Way of Wade 2, while Vans came through with a surprising collab with Primitive. Customs were impressive this week, with a sick Air Jordan IV specialty modeled after the “Cheetah Yeezy” that never released. With the release of the “Knicks” Flightposites, we compiled a list of some of the rarest kicks that ended up releasing later on. Finally, Sneaker News launched Best of #SneakerNews, giving our followers with great on-feet photos some props. Ready for 2014? This week was jam-packed with new releases, so let’s get this rewind going. In the Air Jordan category, we caught a first look at the Air Jordan 3 “Infrared 23″ and the Air Jordan 5Lab3 while getting detailed previews of the “Infrared Cement” Air Jordan 2″. Yeezy Foamposites are a real thing, so get prepared for that as well. The BHM KD 6 was a crowd-pleaser, as was the Kobe 9 NSW Lifestyle in the YOTH colorway. Nike unveiled gear for Super Bowl XLVIII, which included the Lunar Trainer 180 SC and more. A collab with Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci is happening soon, the Janoskis and Kostons with Max Air and Free soles are hitting stores, and the sequel to the Lunar Flyknit is going down this February.

Reebok is coming through with “Magic” colorways of the Kamikaze, while Glenn Robinson’s “The Rail” is making a return as well. adidas is coming correct with Retro releases like the Stan Smith and EQT Cushion, Saucony has two big collaborations on deck, and New Balance is bringing back on of its most comfy 900-level models in the 997. Agenda Trade Show was the place to be for fashion-forward individuals, and we were sure to capture some on-feet looks. Sneaker Con in Houston was without question the biggest event of the week, with thousands showing up to fill up Minute Maid Park.
