This past week was testing not only on the Sneaker News staff and the entire Northeast region as a whole. But that didn’t stop us from bringing you the best that the world of kicks has to offer, starting off with last weekend’s unveiling of the Doernbecher 2012 collection, new LeBrons like the sick ‘Prism’ and the ‘Home’, and the White/Camo Foamposite One that quickly adopted the ‘Fighter Jet’ nickname.  The NBA season came back in full force, with LeBron rocking a sick Gold PE and Ray Allen perhaps stealing the show with his Air Jordan XVI PE, but Nate Robinson deserves credit for rotating three Air Jordans in his Chi-Town debut. Gilbert Arenas headed to China, bringing with him several pairs of heat, while P. Diddy diddy-bopped his way to the headlines with the DMP VI.

The final hurrah of the AF1-XXX is the Lunar Force 1 Fuse, debuting on December 12th. Tennis got some love with the Agassi-inspired Flame Collection, while we got a look at three 2013 colorways of the Air Huarache Trainer ’94. Another ‘Orlando’ Air Flight One drops next week, while NSW debuted the Free Woven (with several more for 2013). Collabs galore once again, in the form a Packer x adidas, Staple x New Balance, and Bones Brigade x Vans. It was a good week for Air Jordan PEs and OGs, and our week-long tribute to SB Dunk Highs of ’05 was a nice look into the past. We hope everyone affected by the Hurricane is doing well and we hope this Sneaker News Weekly Rewind brightens your weekend!

Another Oregon PE? You know it: Jordan Brand hooked up the Ducks with a sick Air Jordan IV PE. On top of that, Sneaker News got you some info for Air Jordan releases from January through May of 2013. NSW head Gentry Humphrey hinted at a possible release of ParaNormans for retail, a third Yeezy 2 colorway, and another All-Star-inspired Foamposite release. Nike Basketball had a major week with the unveiling of the KD V, a first look at two Kobe VIII colorways, and a breakdown of the Nike LeBron X. The Yeezy 2 also made a resurgence to the headlines as we were teased with the thought of a third colorway. Air Force 1s continue to impress as we wind down to the Supreme x Air Force 1 release, but a ‘Digi Camo’ version of the Lunar Force 1 was also worth noting. Nike’s Action Sports wing makes some noise with two outstanding snowboard boots, and NSW’s collaboration with atmos brings ‘glow’ back onto the scene.

adidas made some impressive headlines for two major reasons; the Rose 3 is indeed spreading out some great colorways with backstories, but it’s the battle with Nike Flyknit that raised our eyebrows. The Gel Lyte III returns front and center with Fieg’s next collaboration, as does New Balance with a nice collection of upcoming releases like the NYC Marathon Pack and the Year of the Snake. Converse goes crazy with the collaborations, while Vans makes its presence felt once again with a great Taka Hayashi-centric event in NYC. Sneaker Con is scheduled for an NYC comeback the weekend before Thanksgiving. Finally, Sneaker News took a look back at five iconic Nike Tennis models for Classics Revisited, throwing out names like Jon McEnroe, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, and even Foamposite. All of Weekly Rewind is yours for the taking below, so check it out and enjoy the weekend!

Kicking things off for Sneaker News Weekly Rewind is a nice crop from Jordan Brand, like the Air Jordan IV ‘Terror Squad’ PE that resembles the Eminem version. Nike Basketball unveiled the LeBron X ‘Cork’ and hinted at a premium-level collection of Nike Basketball kicks. A Kobe 8 sample stirred up some discussion, as did the DMV-inspired I-95 Posite Max. NBA Feet came back in full force with two great recaps over the last week, and the collection of sneaker sightings did not disappoint. A first look at the Air Huarache Retro for 2013 was presented, as was a more advanced running model in the Lunar Flyknit One. A collection of NBA-inspired Bespokes provided some nice visuals, as did the ‘Presidential’ Edition inspired by the actual Air Force One aircraft and the crazy graphic-printed CMFT edition.

The Air Force 180 Mid continues to titillate us with a sick rollout of colorways, while Nike SB headlines kept it relevant with some new Koston and Janoski releases. A first look at some 2013 Air Max releases like the EM-built Sunset Pack and the 2013 flagship sparked some more discussion regarding the direction of Air Max as well. Under Armour unveiled its Fall 2012 Basketball models in a Media Event this week, unveiling the unique Micro G Charge BB and the Spine BB. Custom sneakers continued to go strong with one of the biggest names in the game coming through with a familiar Yeezy 2. Finally, Sneaker News focused on the early Nike SB Dunk monster, pointing out five amazing Lows from 2005. October is in full force, so let’s get right to it: Jordan Brand presented us with an amazing collection of Air Jordan IX PEs for NFL athletes as the Kilroy Pack continues to unfold. The Christmas edition of the LeBron is finally unveiled, while Bron’s teammate D-Wade officially unveils the Li-Ning partnership. The Zoom Hyperflight will arrive in 2013 in anything but a ‘GR’ form, and KD and Kobe tighten the screws in some new sneakers during NBA Pre-season action. Hyperposites continue to trend in PE and sample form, while the Penny V releases keep chugging out – this time in ‘Tour Yellow’. Jason Kidd also gets in on the 90′s mix with four colorways of the Zoom Flight 95 ‘Career Pack’. Air Force 1s will continue to be a massive headline, and it certainly is this week thanks to the ‘Presidential’ Air Force 1 and the Lunar Force Low.

Stussy chums it up with Nike again with a sick nine-pair collection of the OMS “S&S Capsule”. More from Reebok in the form of keynote release dates as well, while Asics continues to wow the crowd with the ‘Kill Bill’ styled Gel Saga II. Summer 2013 seems to be set for Nike Sportswear as we get a peek of what’s to come two seasons from now. The story of Johnny Kilroy began this week as the first wave of Holiday 2012 footwear releases began to hit store. The LeBron X was again a hot topic thanks to LeBron’s first-hand explanation of the colorways. More Posite news rolled in, with Wale revealing the I-95 Posite Boot and a slew of PE colorways of the Hyperposite from NBA Media Day. A first non-Thunder colorway of the Nike Zoom KD V surfaced, as did a unique pair of Kobe VIIs that embraces the mis-match style. Nike SB made plenty of noise with a launch event for the Koston 2, and Sneaker News got the chance to talk SB with Stefan Janoski and Eric Koston. ParaNorman was another hot topic as Nike revealed an Air Raid done in ‘Weird’ manner, and a look at more Supreme x Air Force 1s tossed up a bunch of excitement.

FlyKnit returned with a vengeance with a mass re-stock as well as an intro of four new Trainer colorways. Derrick Rose was a trending topic with the first look at the adidas Rose 3.5 and the sick ‘Electricity’ colorway.
