Its two-toned stripe pattern led to some calling these ‘Seersucker’, but that name only hints at the style unveiled on this new Nike Air Max 90 for women. This pair is cast in more of a smooth canvas than the puckered cotton that typically defines those wider-than-pin stripes, so perhaps we should just take a hint from the superlative in its color code and just appreciate this one for its utterly unique style. Palest Purple and white stripes top a white/gum sole for a look that screams ‘spring’; can you picture yourself rocking these throughout the warm months now that they’ve dropped at Nike Sportswear retailers like Oneness?

Nike WMNS Air Max 1 ‘Leopard Pack’

Leopard print combines a feral wilderness and a luxurious attitude – perfect for women, right? Although wildlife prints have become increasingly popular on the men’s side of fashion, this upcoming Leopard Pack of the Air Max 1 is strictly for the ladies; we first previewed the Leopard Pack in March, with this Black colorway side by side with the Dunk High, but it appears that there’s a Grey/Red colorway that will join ‘em for a sick one-two punch of releases. Combining suede, the leopard print, and rip-stop nylon at the toe-box, these WMNS releases will hit NSW accounts this Fall 2012 season (so fellas, get on the hunt for the bigger sizes!). The longstanding partnership between Liberty of London and Nike Sportswear is one whose look is imprinted on the minds of most sneakerheads by now: floral patterning and bright leaning colorways. As it turns out only half of that is really integral to the equation, as this stealthy pair of Nike Air Max 1 WMNS does indeed bear the flowery markings but does so via a rather ghostly palette. Contorting The Nike WMNS Free 3.0 V4

What gives the Nike Free a true ‘barefoot’ running experience is that it allows the foot to twist and contort in any direction the foot pleases. With that said, the Nike WMNS Free 3.0 V4 was put to the test as it was worn by a world-class contortionist (one who clearly knows a few twists and turns). The end result proves that the shoes didn’t inhibit the athlete at all, and in the end, become one with the Nike Free (with a dope shot of her becoming a Swoosh logo inside an oversized shoe-box). Nike WMNS Hyperclave Lite

Nike has NFW’d their Hyperdunks before for lifestyle purposes, but this new design for ladies takes that casual-ization process to a whole ‘nother level. The Nike WMNS Hyperclave Lite is a cutesy take on the Hyperdunk (2010) silhouette, its technical prowess replaced by a Sport Red and white floral print that gives this shoe some depth beyond the simple two-tone palette. The slimmed down sole on these is a bit more feminine than your average Nike Sportswear AC sole and this thinner bottom in combination with the modern silo gives a fresher feel than the vulc-soled Force and Flight reduxes from a couple years back; do you see them in your future, now that they’re available at NSW stores like Atlanta’s Wish?

Hello Kitty x Vans Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

It’s something you’ll recognize as a fan of Sanrio’s signature character, and though its role as one of the most oft-licensed likenesses in the world of children’s entertainment makes this seem as obvious as sociology 101, Hello Kitty has still managed to impress with a huge range of sneaker collaborations. Brands including Asics, Reebok and Ubiq have all applied cartoonish embellishments to their designs in much the same way that this new Hello Kitty x Vans collection for summer.
