Last year, Nike Sportswear unveiled their Sneakerboot Collection, as they took a number of iconic silhouettes from the Air Force 1 and Air Max 90, turning each into a winter ready model by extending the upper and retooling the materials for a cold weather-resistant build. This year the Nike Air Max 1 joins in on the fun, as it gets an added bonus of a metallic side panel and nylon throughout in the Nike Air Max 1 Sneakerboot. Today we get another look at the women’s model, featuring multiple shades of grey, black, and volt accents throughout. What do you think? Hit the click for more and pick this pair up early via comet_trail_sports on eBay.

Nike Womens Air Max Lunar 90 “Iridescent Swoosh”

September 28th, 2014 by | No comments

nike wmns air max lunar90 iridescent swoosh Nike Womens Air Max Lunar 90 Iridescent Swoosh

Iridescent finishes atop Nike WMNS releases isn’t anything new. In fact, just a few weekends ago, the Swoosh gave us the Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Iridescent Pearl Collection. And while that release featured the entire silhouette flaked with that metallic rainbow sheen featuring a futuristic appeal, here it just hits the branding. It’s a perfect match for the Nike Air Max Lunar90 thanks to the addition of the space-age lunarlon x air max outsole while hyperfuse and tape come together to transform the upper into a lightweight alternative. It almost brings us back to the days when Nike was experimenting with that smaller, gel branding on the Air Max 1. Stay tuned for a US release date, and in the meantime you can check out more images of these two Air Max Lunar90s after the break.

Nike Women’s Lunar Elite Sky Hi Sneakerboot

The Nike Lunar Elite Sky Hi was already a strange shoe between the chunky platform on bottom and the pliable, Roshe style upper. They just got even more unorthodox with the introduction of the Nike Women’s Lunar Elite Sky Hi Sneakerboot, which outfits the model for winter with a more protective shell on the upper as well as a bootie style towards the top of the design, both of which give it an almost Flightposite feel. See imagery for this Nike Sportswear creation after the click and then tell us how you feel about them in the comments.

nike flyknit air max hyper turquoise electric green 01 Nike Flyknit Air Max Hyper Turquoise Electric Green

Will the Nike Flyknit Air Max be a one-off or is Nike planning on releasing a follow up to the flyknit x air max combination? The pair has been fairly difficult to track down or anticipate new colorways of, as releases have been rather mercurial. The latest WMNS exclusive pair features that signature bright green, but instead of a Volt aesthetic, we’re getting a gradient of Hyper Turquoise and Electric Green. What do you think? Be sure to check out more from this Nike Flyknit Air Max via Nike Harajuku and stay tuned for a stateside release date in the near future.
