A true instant classic with a huge number of colorways now in its third year keeps on rolling as the latest Nike Free Run+ 2 for women gives us another metallic treatment on the anatomically-inspired overlay. This time it’s Metallic Gold, and the underlying ‘ligament’ structure takes on Bright Citrus for a style that builds on the promise of the February black/Rave Pink release with more colors and the introduction of a canvas base layer. Just goes to show that the Free Run 2 has plenty more to give, and you can see more of this summery mix below, then pre-order before they arrive in May at Titolo.

The latest adidas Originals Superstar 2 is a ladies colorway, but it’s the kind of thing that could just as easily represent a hot look for men these days as well. There’s no mistaking the fact that bright pink sneakers break necks, so when you add black zebra stripes, this Red Zest Superstar 2 should come with a warning label for busy intersections. Considerably more ostentatious than the already eye-catching ‘standard’ black/white rendition that released back in September, this pair is depicted further after the jump and available now at select Three Stripes stockists like Oneness.

The latest Nike Free Run+ 2 for women looks quite a bit like the mens release that preceded it. Both have simple black/white colorways but the men’s will naturally associate with ‘Oreo’ because of the midsole speckles. This new WMNS Free Run 2 applies a novel midsole treatment for this model, incoporating a gradient that further integrates the colors blended on the side panels. Have a closer look after the jump so you can let us know how this new style compares to the speckling that’s been popular on this model of late, and grab your pair today at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Titolo.

To a greater degree than any other New Balance model except maybe the 1400, the 576 has issued a large proportion of pairs with the main upper material carried over to the traditionally mesh areas. In the case of this latest ‘Made in England’ New Balance 576 for women, that means that the lovely cobalt blue suede pictured above covers the toe and ankle ventilation zones. This makes for a particularly ‘cool’ look as paired with white accents and a grey heel counter, and you can see more angles after the jump, then grab a pair at NB retailers like Titolo.

adidas Originals further remixes a style based in an early ’90s basketballer with a couple of additions we’ve seen Nike add to one of its key mid ’80s roundball release. The adidas Originals Amerlight Heel started with design cues from 1993′s Response Sock, then for this latest revision, added a hidden heel wedge a la Dunk Sky High and velcro strap like the SB and GS Dunk Mids. Have a closer look below at this USA-friendly fall 2012 release (hopefully it hits stores in early July) and let us know what you think of the latest concealed wedge sneakers.
