It looks like the Asics Gel Lyte III will be getting a little bit more stateside love, as CNCPTS up in Boston has apparently been granted an SMU. The resulting sneaker is shown here, one that will no doubt garner a couple of comparisons to Ronnie Fieg’s “Salmon Toe” creation of old thanks to the blocking. The design is far from a ripoff though, planting a slick speckling sole across the bottom and throwing some rather rugged looking suede up top. Continue reading for the full preview and stay tuned to Sneaker News to find out more on the upcoming CNCPTS x Asics Gel Lyte III project.

So the ever-so-popular “Weatherman” has returned to the Nike KD VI in slightly different form, revisiting the topographic graphics with this new Black/Atomic Red colorway with a slew of details surrounding the shoe. This is indeed the third known colorway of the Nike KD VI (the other two being the Yellow/Teal and that Blackout wear-test sample that likely won’t release), and as a release date has recently been noted for August 3rd, it’ll be just a few blinks of the eye until the Nike KD VI officially hits stores (time’s flying, fellas). We’ve got a detailed look at the Nike KD VI “Meteorology” after the jump, so take a look and leave us a comment on what you think of the KD VI silhouette and this rehashed “Weatherman” composition.

Ronnie Fieg’s next Asics project looks to be the Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Flamingo”. Not much info exists at this point, but Mr. Fieg has been hinting a release revolving around that pink bird and this teaser shot seems to solidify that notion. The shoe is a mostly pink affair, with some key bits of blue mixed into the blocking (Notice that awesome hit across the mid mesh paneling). Let us know how you feel about this next RF project and stay tuned for more on the Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Flamingo”.

Just last night, Sneaker News brought up the discussion of a potential release of the Red AirYeezy 2 (or a third colorway release in general). One of the reasons behind these blooming theories is that a number of samples like the red and the “oreo” version hit the internet newswire, and this latest revelation of a “Blackout” sample only adds fuel to the flame. Of course, nothing is confirmed regarding another Air Yeezy 2 release, and this Blackout Air Yeezy 2 sample, shown to us by Young Jeezy’s production coordinator DJ Folk, may be just an early mock-up (a lot of early wear-test samples are made in tonal black colorways – think the LeBron XI). In any case, this new Air Yeezy 2 brings the discussion to light again: is another Air Yeezy 2 release in the works?

The latest Air Jordan 1 Mid GS release is one of the more decidedly feminine efforts on record. These new girls AJ1s use a healthy dose of Dynamic Pink alongside white and Metallic Platinum to prove the old ‘pink and shrink’ adage still makes for strong new styles. Have a look at the Wings jewel logo and how the ankle collar that surrounds it has a subtle sparkle, then grab this new AJ1 GS at Jordan Brand retailers like Titolo.

Puma hasn’t abandoned The List as evidenced by the delicious Dim Sum Project, but some of that premium capsule’s luster has transferred to another luxury collection. Everything labeled Machts Mit Qualitat has lived up to the billing, including these fall 2013 drops. The Puma Stepper midtop and Basket lows look great in subtly colored top-shelf leathers and suedes, so check out all four pairs after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for the latest.

The Air Jordan 1 will go convertible on us this summer via this lowkey colorway. The shoe is a mixture of grey, black, white, and true blue across the upper. Interestingly enough the whole “true blue” selection is one that seems to be a pretty big part of the July 2013 offerings from Jordan Brand, which registers as sort of a strange selection since the only real retro tie-in that we know of so far is that elephant laden Air Jordan 1 Mid. See more on the Air Jordan 1 Low for July 2013 after the jump and tell us whether or not you’re feeling it.

The Nike Air Force 1 is a sneaker that’s proven to hold up pretty well over time. For example: since they predate the whole visible Air era you don’t really have to worry about the exploding soles happening. This vintage pair, a Nike Air Force 1 High apparently released in 1983, proves their sturdiness (Look ma, no yellowing!). Get with us after the jump to see a full photo set on this vintage Nike Air Force 1 High and let us know in the comments if you think you could get some actual wear out of the 30 year old gem. Also, if you feel like adding them to the collection then hit up mitsenfbitte on eBay.
