The 2014 return of the Nike Air Max Triax ’94 is one that’s been reasonably colorful. The brightest of them all was that Infrared pair, but there have been plenty other pairs that slide some popping tones into the accents. This new pair ignores all of that by pairing cool grey with wolf grey, black, and white to satisfy those who need sneakers that are a bit tamer. Are you one of them? Tell us in the comments after you see the rest of the photos for this recent Air Max retro and watch for more info on this silhouette right here at Sneaker News.

Air Jordan 3 Retro GS “Wolf Grey”

wolf grey jordan 3 retro Air Jordan 3 Retro GS Wolf Grey

One of the more celebrated Retro Jordan models is undoubtedly the Air Jordan 3, but this year’s collection of new colorways is a sure test to those who call it the best of all-time. The upcoming “Wolf Grey” colorway, seen here in GS sizes, isn’t too far removed from the original Chicago Bulls make-ups we’re used to seeing, only these are lacking that captive red that give it that character. Still, the clean mix of grey, black, and silver seems too hard to turn away, and once we confirm the release date, we’re certain these will be one of the more chased-after sneakers of the year. Be sure to stay tuned for updated release info on these Jordan shoes, so in the meantime, check out the extra photo below for another look.

Nike Brings Back the Clogposite

nike clogposite retro 0 Nike Brings Back the Clogposite

If the Air Flightposite can follow the new Exposed edition with some shrouded originals from the turn of the century, there’s no reason not to invite the sandal form of the shoe along as well.  The Nike Clogposite is about to drop its first pair of 2014 and they’re perfectly timed for the start of warm weather.  This black and Metallic Silver style hitting Japan on Saturday is an OG for both the Clogposite and Flightposite, as is the reversed distribution coming up later (Keep in mind that they’re being officially billed as the Solo Slide for retro purposes).  Let us know which you prefer once you’ve seen this pair in more detail below and stick with Sneaker News for US release info.

“Hacky Sack” Nike SB Stefan Janoski

April 16th, 2014 by | No comments

hacky sack nike sb stefan janoski 1 Hacky Sack Nike SB Stefan Janoski

The Quantum footbag sneaker is basically just an adidas Rod Laver that’s been altered enough to avoid legal issues while simultaneously provide a larger striking surface. The fact that you almost certainly did not know that before reading this means that Nike Skateboarding’s ‘Hacky Sack’ pack will now ascend to the throne as the most famous hacky sack shoes ever. Which one do you like best? This Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski is covered in a woven material that could have been a bean-stuffed sphere-ish in another life, and given the fairly minimalist construction, you’ll have a chance for some serious wool-on-wool action. Click in for a closer view and stick with Sneaker News for more (where’s the Project BA?) as we approach these joints’ Saturday release.

Converse Jack Purcell “Crepe” Collection

converse 2014 summer premium jack purcell crepe collection 570x424 Converse Jack Purcell Crepe Collection
In certain parts of the world, the word ‘crepe’ has become synonymous with sneakers just like ‘trainer’.  The footwear world’s first introduction to a set of soles named after those arm-breakingly delicious delicate French pancakes was a bit more specific, referencing specifically those spongy silicon soles that have made a cameo on this latest take on the Converse Jack Purcell lowtop.  These pairs have the gummy stuff applied to the Purcell’s typically vulcanized soles, which leads to an application along the lines of leather applied to a cup-midsole.  It’s certainly one of the more unique expressions of both the crepe sole and the JP lowtop silo, so click in for more shots and look for these in store starting Saturday.

nike air presto genealogy of free 01 570x424 Nike Air Presto Genealogy of Free

The Nike Geneaology of Free collection celebrates the 10th anniversary of their popular barefoot sole by bringing in models that over the years have either been a part of the series or can be seen to lead up to it. The Nike Air Presto falls into that latter category, this running shoe sized like a t-shirt whose TPU cage was the predecessor to the Flywire that dominates across all sports these days. Like the rest of the Geneaology pairs, this is an original colorway for the Presto, so click in to get reacquainted and cop yours at top NSW shops like SNS.
