While the most notable on-court sneaker sighting from the recent OKC thrashing of LA was Russell Westbrook and his ‘Thunder’ Air Jordan III, there were some other surprise footwear moments that evening in the Staples Center. Sitting courtisde (right next to Jack) was Adam Sandler wearing the Nike Zoom Revis. Sandler is a Brooklyn boy by birth so it shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise that he selected the out-of-the-gate New York Jets looking colorway. Yes we know that the names you see up above aren’t exactly a murderer’s row of sneaker lovers, but if last week taught us anything it was that sneaker sightings like this can come from some pretty unexpected folks. The three gentlemen shown all converged at the Toronto International Film Festival, this particular event an opener for the animated film Hotel Transylvania in which each have a part. On to the sneakers: Kevin James laced up in the Nike LeBron 9 Low, Andy Samberg leaned towards the retro realm with the Nike Air Max 1, and Adam Sandler seemed ready for some hooping with his adidas Rose 773 selection.
