“You got everybody in here ‘Oh my gosh’-in’!”

Big Sean appropriated Rick James via MC Hammer for an entirely different purpose, but that doesn’t mean some of his lyrics aren’t indeed spot-on in describing adidas Basketball’s troupe of all-star dunkers. Three Stripes ballers Dwight Howard, Eric Gordon and Jrue Holiday were on hand for the shooting of the adidas x Foot Locker ‘The Difference’ commercial a short while back, and the cameras kept rolling after the action was wrapped because these guys decided to put on another show. With the help of an unnamed young 1 with a handle like ‘The Professor’, all kinds of oops, reverse jams and 360-did-you-see-thats are being served up fresh, and you can see the entire highlight reel after the jump below.

Kobe Bryant’s own Nike Basketball signature series has proven it doesn’t take a huge amount of ankle support to prevent rolling and sprains, so the Black Mamba striking out against the adidas adiZero Crazy Light can be interpreted as a sign that they offer serious competition to the Swoosh.  Billed as the lightest basketball sneaker ever at just 9.8oz for a US mens size 9, the Crazy Light is pictured above in a colorway that Kobe could hate even more.  adidas no longer commands the services of Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett, but this green and white getup would certainly be a nice match for his uniforms or any other similarly colored squad, and you can pick them up for late summer ballin’ at FinishLine.

While their big ad campaign featuring Chicago’s wonder kid Derrick Rose may be over now that the NBA season has come to a close, adidas still seems to be all in on the adidas AdiZero Crazy Light. While we haven’t had a chance set them on a scale ourselves, at 9.8 ounces this sneaker boasts the most lightweight construction among all its contenders, taking a shot at the throne of basketball sneakers currently occupied by Nike. This new colorway of the adidas AdiZero Crazy Light goes for a simple two tone set up we’ve seen on many an adidas Originals model throughout the years. adidas Basketball lost its two biggest stars when Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose were eliminated in the opening round and Eastern Conference Finals, respectively, but that doesn’t mean Three Stripes is out of the running for a crown.  The adidas adiZero Crazy Light is a contender for the title of lightest basketball sneaker ever, its paltry 9.8oz weight a mere feather when compared to some of the game’s bulkier models.  Pairs in Sharp Blue, Lead/Electric, University Red and ‘Bred’ have hit adidas Performance retailers today and they’re all available right now on Shopadidas (with the exception of the Bred joints, which only have US mens size 16 in stock) or on eBay.
