For all the revenue they generate in arena ticket and pay per view sales, not a single professional wrestler has managed to secure a sneaker collaboration. We’ve seen John Cena rocking Air Jordans and Reebok Pumps plenty of times, but could this new adidas Originals Campus II somehow represent Three Stripes collaboration with The Muppets and connect with another form of entertainment so often enjoyed by unquestioning youths? That depends on if you know that Canadian ring general Chris Jericho named his heavy metal band ‘Fozzy’ in a lawsuit-avoiding tribute to the Jim Henson character who appears on the lateral ankles of these furry-lined Campus 2s.
