The adidas Crazy 8 is the updated name for Kobe Bryant’s first adidas signature shoe. While his time with the Three Stripes was brief, with the Lakers legend swapping to Nike only a couple of years into that stint, the legacy of the then adidas KB8 continues through new Crazy 8 releases. Still holding onto the original design, the silhouette emphasizes a wavy midsole and striped TPU upper, a set of flashy design choices that entirely reflected the playstyle of the 20 year superstar at the time of its debut. 2023 brought back the first retro of the model since 2018, and it seems that new editions of the adidas Crazy 8 will continue rolling out throughout 2024 (and possibly beyond.)
