The adidas Crazyquick was a sneaker very much in the national eye during March Madness time, thanks to finals of that tourney being an all adidas affair. The shoe has seen plenty of NBA usage as well, although not on such a universal level given that sponsorships there are determined on a by-player basis. Offering up more for the laymen is this colorway, a black/purple/teal combination that will be in stores come June 1st. A few weeks back, adidas Basketball released a new ad featuring three of their young stars with narration by A$AP Rocky and some nifty visuals. Today we see just how the adidas CrazyQuick ‘Quick Ain’t Fair’ spot came together, including a robot camera from the future and another look at that ridiculous John Wall 360 dunk. adidas stole the National Championship spotlight two weeks ago when both Michigan and Louisville, two adidas-branded schools, met at the final round for the 2013 title. Either resulting scenario was a winning one for adidas, because both teams were rocking the adidas CrazyQuick in some incredible colorways, leading up to quite an anticipated release of the shoe in two weeks. The adidas Crazyquick has officially proven itself on a performance level, as the sneaker was all over the court for Louisville during last night’s NCAA Championship game. So now that you know that the sneaker is fit for the top tier of college athletes, all you’ve gotta worry about next is which colorway you want to scoop up. Shown here is the “Triple Blue” version, a pair that we’ve actually had a fleeting glance at once before. It was an all-adidas affair for the 2013 Championship game as Louisville and Michigan, both outfitted by adidas, took the court in an array of adidas Basketball footwear like the adidas Rose 3.5, adidas Crazy Light 2, and a slew of new colorways of the adidas CrazyQuick. This is one big step forward for adidas, who had an impressive crop of schools reach the Sweet 16, so regardless of the outcome of the Championship game, you know adidas was already coming out on top. One interesting on-foot sighting has our focus on Kevin Ware, who suffered a gruesome injury wearing the the adidas Rose 3.5, cheering on his Cardinal teammates while wearing the Nike Air Foamposite One “Polarized Pink”. What an ending to one of the most exciting March Madness Tournaments ever, so check out the recap of the game and let’s get ready to switch our focus back to the NBA!

Included are the black/lead and the electricity colorways that our readers have already had a glance at, along with a couple blue based pairs to round things out. Of course the adidas Crazyquick is a sneaker that can very much stand on the merits of its tech (It’s the most tested adidas basketball sneaker ever mind you), but that doesn’t mean the sneaker shouldn’t be able to have a little fun color wise.
