adidas Basketball celebrated the Chinese Lunar New Year by adorning several of its NBA athletes with Year of the Snake attire – namely Josh Smith and Damian Lillard in the adidas Rose 3.5. Dwight Howard sported his flashy kicks as well during the Lakers/Bobcats game; the adidas D Howard Light ‘Year of the Snake’ features some traditional Chinese detailing with gold graphics placed acutely on the three stripes on the upper. The adidas D Howard Light is beginning to hit retailers overseas so check out the new angles as well as an in-game photo of Dwight doing his thing below, and stay tuned for more from adidas Basketball as the 2012-2013 NBA Season winds down.

adidas Baksetball will have plenty of representatives at the 2013 NBA All-Star, with names like Dwight Howard, Jrue Holiday, Tim Duncan all getting selected to participate in basketball’s most exciting weekend. They’ll be doing so in a group of sneakers dipped in camo colorways to reflect the history of the Houston locale. Included in the adidas Basketball 2013 All-Star collection is the adidas D Howard Light, the adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2, and the brand new adidas Crazy Fast. The adidas Rose 3.5, D Howard Light, and Crazy Light 2 serve as the representatives for the upcoming mid/late-February classic, with each model owning a punchy colorway that should battle for attention with what Nike has to offer. His own injury problems and the Los Angeles Lakers’ current struggles have combined to preclude Dwight Howard from Sneaker News with the exception of his ghost hunting gig.
