A good chunk of the adidas Originals lineup consists of heritage models that have withstood the test of time, but then there are those models that bear the same great design yet managed to slip between the cracks for one reason or another. The adi-Archive collection has some of both, and today we’re focusing on the latter category with three new releases that you don’t typically see on shelves at Three Stripes retailers. First up is the adidas Originals Marathon 88 in a white with a unique blend of accent colors. It was just about seven years ago that the release of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou had hipsters from all around trying to get their hands on the classic Rom lowtop depicted as part of the seafaring crew’s uniform. Models like the adidas Originals Malmo, Orion and Kopenhagen are central to continuing the Size?-exclusive ‘Adi’s Archive’ collection into 2012, and you can see a sampling of what’s in store for next year after the jump below. These are expected online staring in January, so let us know which one(s) you like best and stick with Sneaker News for the release date.
