We know that readers have been itching at a chance to get their hands on pairs like the multi-color shoe shown here, and this seems like the best bet following the limited pairs that have been popping up at boutiques over the past week. In the early 90s, nearly every sneaker company had their version of the rugged, off court shoe. adidas was of course in there with the adidas Streetball 2, which made its debut back in 1993 and was intended for use specifically in the brand-run adidas Streeball tournaments. The reinforced rubber hoops shoe will be back this year on March 29th, 2014, when an OG colorway will show up alongside three neon-leaning ones. The new release on display here is yet another piece of evidence for the case of the ZX Flux being the best shoe out at the moment as far as printed pairs go. The kit is white, the laces are white, the stripes are white, and the lining is white, but the base of the upper is all crashing, oceanic graphics. Perhaps the most shining example of that is the adidas ZX Flux, a shoe that’s been finally rolling into US retailers this week and selling out pretty quickly at the select spots that have stocked them so far. Next up for colorways is the “Eletricity”, which manages to be just a bit more eye popping than the multi-color ZX Flux seen yesterday. The latest entity that they’ve teamed up with is Topshop, that Britain born retailer that can now be found in 37 countries across the world. The group, which includes the adidas Superstar 80s, adidas Tech Super, and the adidas Metro Attitude, relies on bespoke prints that take over the shoes in varying degrees.
