adidas Torsion Court Strategy – Yellow – Purple

This summer has been filled with a bevy of retro tennis models seemingly forgotten and then revamped from the archives. And while adidas has brought back the venerable Stan Smith for lifestyle use, the pair hardly compares to the technology ushered in by the adidas Torsion Court Strategy. And no, this purple and yellow theme never made its way to the hardwood, but the early 90s model looks to make a lifestyle jump thanks to the simplistically familiar OG color palette. Initially slated for an August 23rd release, you can pick up this retro three stripes model today via Oneness.

What’s next from the team at Packer Shoes? By the looks of this teaser, they’re getting back in bed with adidas Originals. More specifically they’ve got an EQT shoe that’s on the way for a release on August 29th. The digital display that makes up the teaser reminds us just a bit of the adidas Micropacer, but of course that’s not an EQT shoe so that’s pretty much out of the question. Tell us down in the comments if you’ve got any predictions regarding what’s next from the team in Teaneck and watch with us for the full reveal soon.

adidas Originals Tubular – The Sneaker Everyone Thought Was Kanye’s

Remember when everyone was convinced that this shoe was the first Kanye West x adidas model? As it turns out, the pair is an inline creation from adidas Originals slated for February 2015 known as the adidas Tubular (We’ve also seen them attached to the slightly redundant adidas Tubular Snake name here and there). The model has a definite Y-3 feel to it between the Qasa style platform on bottom and the overall lack of traditional adidas branding. Browse additional photos for the upcoming adidas Tubular with us after the break and drop your two cents on the shoes in the comments section.

adidas Originals Brings Back The Torsion Artillery Lite

adidas torsion artillery lite adidas Originals Brings Back The Torsion Artillery Lite

adidas Originals will continue to attack the retro basketball angle with the return of the new adidas Torsion Artillery Lite. The 1992 design sort of obscures the traditional three-stripe design across the side and places a ventilated black and white setup there that still manages to tick the branding box. First up for the shoe is this black and white, square one colorway that does a fine job conveying the weaponry idea with its mean, no-frills colorway. Get some extra angles on the adidas Originals Torsion Artillery Lite after the click and watch for them at Crooked Tongues next month.

adidas Originals collaborators Mark McNairy and Kazuki are back at it with this new three-way team up of a release on the Monte Carlo, an ancient basketball design from the Three Stripes that hasn’t gotten too much play in recent years save for that Low remix that showed up in 2013. The shoes here take the frequent McNairy approach of replacing the back tab with some alternate text – this time around that area reads “100$ Bill” as a reference to the white and green palette. Take a better look at them after the break and wait with us for word on a US arrival.

The adidas Originals ZX 5000 Response has been rather busy with the prints as of late. They showed up for the world cup via the “Battle Pack” pair and then they had a swirling multicolor concoction that seemed to pick up some cues from the adidas ZX Flux. This time around the shoes are found in a more straightforward colorway, and one that should be pleasing to fans of various New York sports entities. Get a good look at the white/blue/orange pair of adidas Originals with us after the break and stay tuned for word on when and where to purchase in the US.
