What we thought was the last release of the adidas Rose 3.5 might not be the case, because we’re getting a look at yet another colorway of the adidas Rose 3.5 in an interesting blue/purple colorway. Not to be confused with the teal/purple “Murray Park Winter” colorway that released not long ago, this pair of the Rose 3.5 uses a speckled midsole and a matte metallic upper with hints of iridescent quality. No word on if these are a scrapped sample or a future release, so enjoy the gallery of photos below and we’ll update you with any info when it surfaces.

The adidas Rose 3.5 continues to spin the myth of Derrick Rose, using everything from his hometown spots to his personal approach to the game of basketball in its various story-telling type colorways. This new one is a bleak gun-metal grey affair that reflects Rose’ tough as nails persona on the court (One that we will hopefully see return sooner rather than later). adidas Basketball is slowly zeroing in on the budding superstar that is Portland Blazers guard Damian Lillard. This rookie phenom has an incredible future ahead of him, with potential signature-shoe stardom with adidas in the future (it makes total sense – we’ll explain later tonight). Throughout the season, Lillard’s feet have acted as billboards for adidas’ best shoes, from their inline Crazy Light models to D-Rose’s signature Rose 3 and 3.5; yesterday night, Lillard wore the winning #LillardKicks design of the adidas Rose 3.5 – one that was selected by a fan during the miadidas #LillardKicks design contest. This Home-based colorway features a tonal white upper with black netting on the tongue and red speckling on the midsole and laces – a nice simplistic composition considering the wide array of colors available on miadidas. Check out Damian Lillard in his kicks below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for a thorough NBA Feet recap tomorrow.

Last week, Derrick Rose was quoted saying that he would return to the NBA court on the following Monday game against the Denver Nuggets. The sports media and fan reaction was instant, and most wondered if “The Return” was happening sooner than expected. What we do know is the Chicago Bulls franchise has been incredibly cautious regarding the health of its star player, and if Rose ever returns, he should do so with complete confidence. Rose has been warming up and practicing with his fellow Bulls this past week, but during yesterday’s warm-up prior to tip-off against Denver, Rose was spotted wearing this minty-green colorway of the adidas Rose 3.5 “St. Patrick’s Day”. We’ll keep you updated regarding a release, so stay tuned and get ready for Rose to return to the NBA court soon.

Yet another adidas Rose 3.5 colorway has arrived that pays tribute to Derrick Rose’ Chicago locale. The palette in place riffs off that of the Chicago flag, a stars and stripes design that’s been associated with the city since 1917. The baby blue and red sections from said flag get quite a bit brighter on the sneaker, resulting in one of the lightest looking combos we’ve seen from the D-Rose line save from those electric yellow joints popping up here and there. Get more on the adidas Rose 3.5 ‘Chi-Town’ after the jump and then purchase yours from adidas Basketball come February 28th.

Derrick Rose’ ice cold on-court inspires this latest adidas Rose 3.5 style. The sneaker gets dressed up in a bunch of blues for the gridded SPRINTFRAME upper, a set that sort of crystallizes around the ankle area D-Rose logo for a frosty look. Said frostiness is also extended to the outsole in the form of a cool blue icy treatment. The adidas Rose line has reached the halfsie mark as the adidas Rose 3.5 has begun to hit stores and NBA hardwood over the last few weeks. A low-top is likely in the works, and this Sample pair in the classic Black/Red Bulls colorway reveals some unique details that are consistent with the taller 3.5 model, like the spirographic detail on the upper. Of course, these are chopped off at the ankle region for the Low POV, but this pair is a sample at this point and the final product could be different than what we see here. A gallery of this upcoming release is below so take a look and check out the entire listing from dballaholic on eBay.
