adidas Originals’ ST collection bridges the gap between Three Stripes’ classic heritage models and their modern skate designs, releases like the Ciero, adiEase and the new Foray falling into under its umbrella. The latest drop includes the addition of the adidas Originals Decade Lo ST to its ranks, but given the influence from that model’s basketball peers on the state of modern skateboarding footwear, it’s a natural fit. It’s pretty amazing the difference just fourteen months can make in the world of fashion and shoe design. It was right at the crossover of 2009/2010 that we saw the first Star Wars x adidas Originals Superskate ‘Stormtrooper’ release, and as you might expect from the character from whom its inspiration was drawn, this snekaer is done almost entirely in white with black and grey accent hits. And while this new Stormtrooper Superskate is also nearly all-white, the Bape-aping multicolor camo that lines the insides and colors the tongue tag is a clear indication of where things are headed this year.
