adidas Originals ZX 700 “Perf Pack”

adidas zx700 tonal leather pack adidas Originals ZX 700 Perf Pack

Following up on a strong 2012 that saw it lead the way for Three Stripes’ classic running lineup, the adidas Originals ZX 700 debuts a new style in two colorups.  Featuring rich all-leather construction, these ZX700s swap out the traditional mesh ventilation for perforated suede, including a bit of see-thru appeal on the tongue.  The brown pair is impressive in its own right, but the Dark Petrol edition takes the cake for skating that line and perfectly blending a navy blue shade with black.  Gum soles are an attractive finish on both designs, so click through for more shots of each and pre-order yours so they’ll arrive upon the February release date from End.

With most athletes peaking in their late 20s, the adidas Originals ZX 700 is poised for a couple of solid years before the 30th birthday party.  This new colorway for January 2013 features a palette we’ve come to expect to see on the football field around the start of the year, but even with the Steelers struggling at the moment, these are bound to be a big hit in Pittsburgh.  Interestingly enough, this pair’s murky base shade is Ink, which also happens to be a Nike color in the purple range, whereas the Swoosh’s closest color is called ‘Gridiron’.  Take it as sheer coincidence or an omen, this is clearly a sign of good things to come and you can see more photo proof after the jump below.

Clear Grey has become adidas Originals’ best ally when it comes to classic runners.  Just over a month ago, this light shade blessed a couple of ZX 8000s that might be the year’s finest pairs and today we see it again on another ZX OG.  The adidas Originals ZX 700 has its turn and adds one darker shade of grey along with a similar setup with tonal reds and blues.  The blocking template is precisely aligned to give these a lovely balance of ’80s and today’s styling and you’ll find them available at Oslo’s Sole Service.

SneakersNStuff’s upcoming Consortium collabo is strictly for ladies, and though its snake-textured black/white build is a distillation of 2012 trends many sneakerheads would love to wear, those with larger feet will have to look forward to new adidas Originals ZX 700s for consolation.  This latest release is a pure ’80s throwback with its suede and mesh build combining white, grey tones and the familiar Pool shade of blue for a slightly different take on an OG-ish look than the summer selections.  Let us know how these compare after you’ve seen more photos below, then find yours at Three Stripes stockists like their good friends at SNS.
