24 years ago the adidas ZX5000 hit sneaker shelves, turning heads with its mixture of blue blasted colorways and Torsion tooling. The model is back again, trotted out this time as the adidas Originals ZX5000, and available exclusively at the United Kingdom’s own Size?, one of the outlets no doubt better equipped to give the OG adidas runner its due. Last week we caught a glimpse of the upcoming adidas ZX5000 designed in tandem with California-based UNDFTD and Japan-born A Bathing Ape, spotted on the cover of the upcoming Sneaker Freaker issue 25. It’s a perfect mix of the two distinct viewpoints, mixing Bape’s signature camouflage print logo on the upper and UNDFTD’s American roots with the red, white, and blue stripes on the upper. Gold-foil logos are spotted on the heels, with the UNDFTD logo standing alone on the left shoe and the Bape symbol on the right. Just like the two adidas Campus colorways we showed you earlier, the ZX5000 of this capsule is set for a release on October 26th, so get a full view below and let us know which of the three picks of the UNDFTD x Bape x adidas ZX5000 you like best.
