Jeremy Lin is no longer a member of the Houston Rockets, but his time there did wield the benefit of getting in touch with Dwight Howard’s adidas connect. Now in sunny Los Angeles, Lin is a major part of adidas Basketball’s imprint expanding globally to Asian markets. To help the effort, the three stripes released two brand new adidas Crazylight 2 Low pairs with a Lin-PE flare. The shoes take cues from the adidas Originals Stan Smith on the tongue branding with Jeremy’s face printed on a patch reminiscent of the tennis classic while ‘JLin7′ text arrives on the outer ankle (despite him switching to number 17 for the LA squad). Which colorway is your favorite? We’re still waiting on a stateside release date but check out more photos after the jump.

adidas Basketball continues to impress with their onslaught of summer releases. With a lot of attention on the adidas Crazyquick collection, a shoe that stresses the importance of lightweight footwear for guards, many may have forgotten about the precursor: the adidas Crazy Light 2. The low-top version takes the technological strides made in the adiZero Crazy Light 2 and cuts it down to a low model, but improves the ankle support with a superior ankle collar padding. Also noticeably different is the movement of the three stripes to the shoe’s side panel. The adiZero Crazy Light 2 Low comes in two new coloways: a scarlet/black seen on the feet of 2013 National Champions the Louisville Cardinals, and black/yellow. Find more images of the new release after the jump.
