Just as was the case with the ‘Suns’ makeups, the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’93 will precede the ‘Playoffs’ Jordan VIII Retro by two weeks. Coming up with a June 1st drop date, these 8-ified AJ1s incorporate the heel ribs and colorway including multicolor liner and chenille tongue logo in tribute to the shoe in which Michael Jordan captured his third NBA Championship. Shown here is an alternate black and royal look that strays pretty far from that OG look. Are you ready for a patriotic Air Jordan 1 release for July? It appears that this sneaker might be playing that role between the mixture of fire red, true blue, and white across the upper and the month of their arrival. If that’s the case though, is the inclusion of elephant print just an effort to get an extra-tie in in the mix? Or is it perhaps some sort of GOP sneaker? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in black/metallic gold definitely stands as the hardest to track down of Air Jordan 1 retro releases in 2013. With that being said, it’s good to see the sneakers getting some wear rather than getting tucked away in closet. Wiz Khalifa is the one putting in work in this instance, showing up to LAX with the patent leather shoes on feet.
