The Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” releases on May 25th and will feature Nike Air on the tongue. That means that this OG offering will likely retail at $140 like the previous releases, and based on this latest photo, an exta set of white shoe-laces will be part of the package. We last saw this colorway arrive in Mid-Top form as part of the Old Love/New Love pack from several years ago, but the original high-top cut will without question be a much bigger draw. Keep your calendars marked for May 25th because this Air Jordan 1, like every other AJ1 that dropped this year so far, will fly off the shelves.

Another incredible Air Jordan 1 could be in the works for 2013 – this sick military-themed colorway that makes use of digi-camo graphics on the upper. 2013 was already one of the best years for the Air Jordan 1, with an onslaught of OG-style releases giving some youth to the oldest Air Jordan sneaker, and this sample, which featuring a beige upper and a unique combination of olive green and light blue on the camouflage print, hints at what else could be in store for the second half of the year. No word if these are a scrapped sample, but we’ll keep you updated on any developments regarding a release. Amidst this current Retro cycle of the Air Jordan VIII is the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’93, which combines the original Air Jordan 1 silhouette with signature details from the Air Jordan VIII. We’ve seen a Home “Bugs” colorway already drop, but we’re getting a hint at a potential upcoming releases as we get a first look at this sample colorway in Red, Green, Yellow, and Black. Some interesting details regarding this sample include the different tones of the green (likely for look-see purposes) and the mis-matched outsole colors. JBF Customs is without question the chief of the customs tribe that deals with high-end materials – most notably the leather python skins he’s used to punch up shoes like the Air Jordan 1. This latest Air Jordan 1 customs is dubbed the “Venetto” for that high-end wine appeal, using rich bordeaux-colored leather and cork material on the upper, with a sick wooden box packaging. 2013 has been a year absolutely littered with coveted Air Jordan 1 releases. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG has been the main culprit there between the increasingly hard to find pairs like the “Knicks”, “Royal”, and last weekends’ nigh-unattainable black/metallic gold combo. The crown jewel strictly in terms of rarity though has to be this, the Just Don x Air Jordan 1 “Black History Month” pair. The sneaker is one of just 37 produced and also comes with a matching snapback in python-brimmed Don C fashion. Richard Hamilton is one of a few players left in the NBA active during Michael Jordan’s tenure with the Washington Wizards, and one of only three to have played with him there (winning NCAA and NBA championships is also quite rare). Rip’s Jumpman connection goes back even further to his days at UConn (and presumably all the way back to Coatesville). So while it might be a bit easier for him to pull a few strings, he’s still just like us in being proud of new pairs. Here we see the Chicago sharpshooter showing off two fresh Air Jordan 1 Retro High OGs, the forthcoming ‘Grape’ Vs and a new color of the Retro 1 ’93 that despite photo filters appears to be an orange-laced silvery style. So the recent news of the Air Jordan #XX8DaysofFlight collection arriving at the hands of the lucky winners as well as one pair going up for sale on eBay has been a trendy topic, but the “Black/Neon” Collection wasn’t the first themed set of Jays we’ve seen. In fact, 2012 was all about the White/Red, Pantone, Rainbow, Blackout, and more, and most have at one point or another gone up for sale on eBay.
