Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight #Follow23 Delivered

Jordan Brand came through with its promise to reward one lucky @jumpman23 follower with a pair of the Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight #Follow23 edition. The winner of the contest, @M!KE428, just received his pair after having his Jumpman icon image voted as the best of the bunch and decided to show them off. The White/Blue colorway matches the Twitter homepage motif, with the cloud graphic on the heel adding an extra touch of authenticity. Would you cop if these released? Check out the extra images after the jump and let us know what you think.

Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight Light Graphite White

From Jordan Brand‘s flagship on NIKEiD in your choice of colors and materials to its Hyperfused spinoff in a colorway reminiscent of last year’s biggest drop.  Check out the Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight in Light Graphite, a colorway that probably sounds familiar to regular Sneaker News readers because it’s also being featured on an upcoming Air Jordan XIV Retro.  But thanks to the use of patent leather along with the Hyperfuse composite, these end up looking more like the ‘Cool Grey’ AJ11s than either those 14s or the Light Graphite/Wolf Grey Fives that released earlier this year.  Click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for the exact release date, which should be sometime later this month.

Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight September 2011 Colorways

Although Jordan Brand is recognized as a label independent of Nike, the two are still very much playing on the same side. Nike’s Hyperfuse material, which debuted in July of 2010, has crossed over to Jordan Brand, making its Air Jordan product line debut on the Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight, a lower-cut version of the Air Jordan 2011. Three new colorways of the Q Flight are set for a release this September; a classic White/Red/Blue ‘USA’ combination along with a Black/White version will be available, as will a unique nubuck-uppered version with Metallic gold on the outsole and Jumpman (perhaps a ‘Year of the Rabbit‘ release?). Check out all three upcoming colorways after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on Jordan Brand footwear for the remainder of its Fall 2011 Season line-up.

Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight White Varsity Royal

You know all that color-on-white goodness we showed you early this morning in the form of six new Air Jordan 1 Retros?  Well it turns out that the very same kind of simple two-toned colorblocking that works great on that 1985-born model can just as satisfyingly be applied to the all new Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight.  This Hyperfuse-uppered take on the Air Jordan 2011′s ‘Quick’ Zoom Air cushioning comes with Varsity Royal accents upon a white base.  They’re a bit subdued when compared to the #Follow23 edition, but that look will translate perfectly to a variety of school uniforms, and they’re just a yellow shoelace away from your own ‘Laney’-style palette.  Click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for the exact release date on this selection from Jordan Brand‘s August drop.

Jordan Brand #Follow23 Contest Finalists

Over the weekend, Jordan Brand launched a Twitter-driven contest called #Follow23, where @jumpman23 challenged its followers with a unique photo assignment in which contest entrants would recreate a classic Michael Jordan moment. The grand prize would be the Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight #Follow23, which we showed you this past Saturday. There are hundreds of classic MJ moments to choose from, and after all the submissions, Jordan Brand has narrowed it down to these five brave souls who took the time to relive some of their favorite MJ moments in history. From the classic Jumpman stance to the famous ‘cupped ball’ dunk, the efforts put out by the five finalists are truly worthy of a round of applause (or in this case, re-tweets). Check out the five finalists below and vote for your favorite at the end, and to get your vote in for the official contest, follow @jumpman23 and RT your favorite your selection!

Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight #Follow23

Over the years, Twitter has become more than just an online social media tool. It’s defined a generation in which individuals displaced miles apart can feel a sense of closeness and interaction, and millions can stay up to date on the lives of those who choose to publicize, or ‘tweet’, their daily happenings. Jordan Brand’s official Twitter @jumpman23 recently unveiled a special colorway of the Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight and will give the sneaker away to one lucky follower as a ‘thank you’ to all the fans who have kept up to date with Jordan Brand news; it features a colorway similar to the official Twitter banner, with White upper, University Blue ‘Fuse’ panels, outsole, Jumpman, and tongue, and a cloud graphic on the heel. The tongues also feature the ampersand logos, which is common Twitter language. Check out the extra detailed images below and let us know if you think. If you’re not following either @jumpman23 or @sneakernews, join in!

Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight Black Red White | Sample

The latest Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight gives us another perspective on why some have loosely compared the AJXI IE Retros we’re getting this year to Nike Hyperfuse construction.  It’s easy to see the similarities between those Bred Eleven IEs and this AJ2011 Quick Flight, the all black upper a familiarly elegant take on the Chicago Bulls’ color scheme thanks to its unique blend of premium leather and Hyperfuse.  The only less than perfect thing about this design is that it appears these are but a sample, so be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates on a possible US release date and let us know if you’d cop these were they made available.  via edtrigger

Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight Available Early

One of the most exciting design elements of the Air Jordan 2011 was the swappable sole, a setup that let you choose “quick” or “explosive” depending on your on court aspirations. For many though, that choice was superfluous, and the Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight was built with the players who choose “quick” every time in mind. These feature a Hyperfuse upper and the aforementioned “quick” sole to guarantee a speedy new sneaker from Jordan Brand, one that really represents a hybrid of classic and contemporary design. While the official release date on them is Thursday, July 7th, online retailer Pick Your Shoes has pairs available now, and below retail no less. Hit the jump to get a full look at the Jordan 2011 Q Flight, and if you like what you see, pick up a pair now on eBay.
