AIR JORDAN 2012 The Air Jordan 2012 is Jordan Brand’s flagship sneaker from the same year, the fourth Air Jordan silhouette to adopt the yearly nomenclature following the Air Jordan XX3. The Air Jordan 2012 features an innovative wing-tip style design on the upper and carries on with the idea of an adaptable sneaker, with swappable cushioning systems catering to different styles of play.

The man responsible for everything ‘cool’ in Hollywood is gearing up for the premiere of his latest movie titled TED, which co-stars the movie’s director Seth McFarlane. In TED, Mark Wahlberg plays a man with no friends (really, how does Marky Mark not have any friends) except for a teddy bear that has come to life, which apparently has taken the soul of Family Guy’s Peter Griffin. We get that the two characters don’t intertwine, but how do you not imagine Quahog’s finest when the bear speaks? In any case, Mark Wahlberg was spotted strolling around Beverly Hills with his wife while wearing the Air Jordan 2012 in the ‘Wolf Grey’ colorway. More of Marky Mark’s sneaky sneaks below! “…Tyson, Jackson, Jordan, Game 6…”
Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Co. are in. They sealed the deal on Wednesday night in Oklahoma City, finishing off their Western Conference Finals opponents in four straight games and punching in Oklahoma City’s first NBA Finals appearance in history. Out East, LeBron James and the Miami Heat faced elimination as they tipped off in Boston down 3-2, and what we witnessed was a magnificent performance on offense and defense. LeBron James, who is rather expressive on the court (whether it be jovial or in complaint), had a stone-cold stoic demeanor from beginning to end, dropping 45 points in what is undoubtedly his greatest NBA Playoffs performance of his career. He’s gone one to go on Saturday night – will he lead the Heat to a Finals showdown against the Thunder? Photos: yahoo

More viewings of the stripped-down Air Jordan 2012 known as the Air Jordan 2012 Lite falls on our laps – this time in a Green/Purple colorway that should have you thinking about a certain gargantuan Avenger. While the AJ2012′s layered appeal gets pressed down into one single seamless shell with the Zoot Suit silhouette popping up around the toe, midfoot, and heel, the Air Jordan 2012 Lite manages to handle style and function perfectly with the lightweight construction, with Flywire applying lock-down coverage. A gallery of this Green/Purple colorway is just below, so take a look and let us know what you think. Photos: taobao

There’s a little less than two weeks to go in the NBA season, but the NBA kicks just seem to get better and better. After debuting the Ambassador IV on Friday night, LeBron whipped out the Nike LeBron 9 Low in Black/Red against the Knicks on Sunday. The Garden seemed to be home to a lot of great sightings, because we saw the Air Jordan 2012, Air Jordan X, Kobe VII ‘Wolf’, and even John Wall’s ‘Beyond The Gold’ PE hit the Mecca floor. Other notables include Nate Robinson showing the Melo M8 some love, OJ Mayo rocking the tonal patent leather navy Air Max CB 34 HOH exclusives, and Timofey Mosgov boasting what might be the best iD colorway of the Huarache 2k4. The sneaker king of the week is without a doubt Monta Ellis, who showed up on Friday night with the Air Jordan XVI CDP and Air Jordan XVIII CDP (switching at halftime), and on Sunday with the Silver Anniversary XI. More of this weekend’s best footwear sightings, so take a look for a full recap of NBA Feet! Photos: espn

One of the perks of being a player-owner for the Washington Wizards in the early 2000s was that Michael Jordan was able to book the former MCI Center to host a brand new high school all-star game. The Jordan Brand Classic was an instant success, and celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, as well as the second straight in Charlotte after a run at Madison Square Garden. And just like 2011′s game at the Bobcats’ building, we can expect player exclusives from the Air Jordan franchise release in ‘east blue’ and ‘west red’ colorways – although this year the classic ‘red’ will be changed to ‘team orange’. The ‘Jordan Brand Classic’ Air Jordan 2012 Deluxe will outfit the next generation of roundball stars when the game tips off next Saturday, April 14th, but you can get your JBC PEs on Wednesday the 11th; will you be picking sides or choosing instead to collect both pairs?

Every time a black and red Jordan releases, your attention is required. Hitting retailers tomorrow is the ‘Bred’ installment of the Air Jordan 2012, which features a combination of leather panels above the glossy Flywire shell and a solid Anthracite outsole. If you look back at the Air Jordan 2012 Golf Shoes that MJ rocked during this weekend’s MJCI, you’d understand why Tinker waited this long for this type of design to surface – it’s the perfect ‘grown’ man aesthetic that just so happens to work well as a basketball sneaker. Hit your Jordan purveyor tomorrow for these, or cop now from yellownsxt on eBay.

Michael Jordan just wrapped up the 11th annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament this past weekend, sporting some awesome Air Jordan-inspired golf gear from head to toe. Starting with his shoes, Michael wore two different colorways of the Air Jordan 2012 golf shoe (one we previewed earlier), used a Carolina Blue Jordan golf club, had an Air Jordan golf bag that featured all the Air Jordan embroidered on the exterior, and even had an Air Jordan III ‘White/Cement’ golf club head cover. He also moved about the green in typical fashion, riding around in a Tar Heel blue golf cart with ’23′ detailing. Who won the tournament? That title goes to the team of John Smoltz and Brandi Chastain. Maybe Jordan’s caddy – Ashton Kutcher – should’ve provided a bit more encouragement/advice! Check out the Jordan’s gear below and let us know what you think! Photos via lasvegassun/golfwrx
