Air Jordan 2012 – Jared Jeffries Knicks PE

The Air Jordan 2012 was, to put it politely, a forgettable chapter of the legacy. There was virtually no presence of the shoe in the NBA, and with the shoe box the size of a mini-fridge, it was a rather cumbersome item to keep stored in a closet. The design of the 2012 was impressive, however, with the grown-up ‘zoot suit’ style and jazzy notes making up the entire silhouette of the shoe, and this Jared Jeffries PE during his Knicks days offers up a nice color contrast of black and a dark royal blue. Maybe we just needed more colorways to warm up to the Air Jordan 2012? In any case, we’ve got a rare look at this worn-once NBA PE, so take a look and see the full listing from hamburgsupply on eBay.

In 2009, Jordan Brand celebrated the 23-year long heritage of the Air Jordan Legacy by creating the “History of Flight” exhibit centered around a Bulls-centric White/Red/Black theme that flowed through every Air Jordan model. Of course, with each passing year, a new member gets welcomed into the group, so we’d like to show you the latest addition to the History of Flight fraternity – the Air Jordan 2012. It’s designed just as you expected – a tonal white upper with a splash of red on the outsole and interior lining, with black shoe-laces to “tie” in the colorway into one solid display. A full shot of the Air Jordan 2012 ‘History of Flight’ is just below, so take a look and let us know where the Air Jordan 2012 ranks among all twenty-seven Air Jordan models.

air jordan 2012 jbc promo 01 Air Jordan 2012 Jordan Brand Classic Promo Sample

East vs. West has traditionally been a Blue vs. Red affair, but 2012 was a year of changes for sneaker brands as both Nike and Jordan threw in the punchy orange into the mix for some distinction. The Jordan Brand Classic in April, which showcases some of the best High School talent in the nation, featured two special colorways of the Air Jordan 2012, with the East squad donning a tonal Team Orange colorway with a grey midsole. This unreleased promo sample seen here is likely a variation of that Eastern composition, but clearly the tonal joints were the final product for the sake of symmetry as the West went with a similar tonal make-up in University Blue. More of this unreleased Air Jordan 2012 sample below, so take a look and hit up the auction from thecoolshoeshine on eBay.

“…Tyson, Jackson, Jordan, Game 6…”

Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Co. are in. They sealed the deal on Wednesday night in Oklahoma City, finishing off their Western Conference Finals opponents in four straight games and punching in Oklahoma City’s first NBA Finals appearance in history. Out East, LeBron James and the Miami Heat faced elimination as they tipped off in Boston down 3-2, and what we witnessed was a magnificent performance on offense and defense. LeBron James, who is rather expressive on the court (whether it be jovial or in complaint), had a stone-cold stoic demeanor from beginning to end, dropping 45 points in what is undoubtedly his greatest NBA Playoffs performance of his career. He’s gone one to go on Saturday night – will he lead the Heat to a Finals showdown against the Thunder? Photos: yahoo

nba feet 4 16 12 NBA Feet: Weekend Recap 4/13 4/15

There’s a little less than two weeks to go in the NBA season, but the NBA kicks just seem to get better and better. After debuting the Ambassador IV on Friday night, LeBron whipped out the Nike LeBron 9 Low in Black/Red against the Knicks on Sunday. The Garden seemed to be home to a lot of great sightings, because we saw the Air Jordan 2012, Air Jordan X, Kobe VII ‘Wolf’, and even John Wall’s ‘Beyond The Gold’ PE hit the Mecca floor. Other notables include Nate Robinson showing the Melo M8 some love, OJ Mayo rocking the tonal patent leather navy Air Max CB 34 HOH exclusives, and Timofey Mosgov boasting what might be the best iD colorway of the Huarache 2k4. The sneaker king of the week is without a doubt Monta Ellis, who showed up on Friday night with the Air Jordan XVI CDP and Air Jordan XVIII CDP (switching at halftime), and on Sunday with the Silver Anniversary XI. More of this weekend’s best footwear sightings, so take a look for a full recap of NBA Feet! Photos: espn
