What a way to end the first half of the NBA season! We’ve got a lot of NBA in-game sneaker sightings to catch up on, so let’s get to it. Starting off with last night’s much-anticipated match-up between the Knicks and the Heat, LeBron James was seen wearing the Nike LeBron 9 ‘BHM’ with the Black/White Alternate uniforms. In San Antonio, sneakerhead/small forward Kawhi Leonard rocked the White/Black Nike Zoom Rookie LWP after he wore the Air Jordan XIV ‘Chartreuse’ just days ago. The Nike Zoom Kobe VII iD has started to pop up more frequently, with great designs from Demar DeRozan, Nick Young, and Brandon Rush. Houston’s Kevin Martin jumped the gun by unofficially debuting the Air Jordan 2012 in the White/Black colorway (with the Red inner bootie, of course). Check out the rest of the NBA Feet action below and stick with Sneaker News over the All-Star Weekend as we will keep you up to date with all of the action! via ESPN

With the rate at which Jordan Brand is issuing Air Jordan Retros, many sneakerheads have begun to speculate when we’ll get another round of Air Jordan VIIIs. Their 23rd anniversary year doesn’t come up until the next leap year, which is an awfully long time to wait for one of the best loved and most unique of all the AJ Legacy designs. And although there aren’t any AJVIII releases on the horizon and the Air Jordan 8.0 ’Aqua’ drop has come and gone, there will indeed be another OG-style take on the AJ8.0 arriving at a store near you. The new pair pictured above imitates a pair MJ wore during his conquest of the first three-peat, the kind of beloved original that you wouldn’t expect to see pop up like this with no warning. This ‘Bugs Bunny’ Air Jordan 8.0 is waiting in more angles after the jump, then for your buying pleasure over at FinishLine.

Linsanity has overwhelmed the NBA and pro-sports newsreel as the Asian sensation continues to prove that his six-game streak is no fluke. On Valentine’s Day, Jeremy Lin blew a kiss of death to Raptors fans with a game-winning three-pointer to finish off the game while wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low (with rumors of a ‘Linsanity’ PE swirling around). Amare Stoudemire and his Nike Air Max Sweep Thru was welcomed back into the line-up as he contributed a very Amare-like stat-line of 21 and 9. LeBron James rocked a Red/Black PE of the Nike LeBron 9 as the Heat finally turned the table on the Bucks, while the Wizards’ Jordan Crawford switched up his rotation by wearing the Nike Huarache Free Bball 2012 in the Black/Royal colorway. Of course, we’ve got a lot more for you below, like Al Harrington’s LeBron 9 iD, Amir Johnson’s White/Red Kobe VII, and Nate Robinson’s Air Jordan X, so check out some of the best NBA kicks from the previous two nights and let us know who rocked the best kicks! via Yahoo!

Beaverton has a history of uniting behind a cause through their footwear releases, take the Nike Air Mag or the ongoing Livestrong collection for example. The latest in their campaign for cancer awareness comes in the form of this trio from Jordan Brand, a set that will be seen on feet for NCAA teams North Carolina, Georgetown, Marquette and Cal in solidarity with the Coaches vs. Cancer movement. Included in the trio is the Jordan Play in These II, the Air Jordan 8.0, and the newly rolled out Jordan CP3.V (the pink colorway of which we already gave you a look at in our extensive preview). Follow us after the jump to get a look at all three of the PE sneakers included in the Coaches vs. Cancer pack.

Among the many reasons for copping the Air Jordan 8.0, consider the fact that it’s been a while now since we’ve seen the standard Air Jordan VIII silhouette on shelves. This updated version of the eighth entry in Michael Jordan’s legacy series breaks the dry spell, with the latest colorway to release being the coveted aqua combo. Reception on these has been a bit more positive than other Air Jordan hybrid models coming down the pipeline, perhaps due in part to the aforementioned scarcity of 8′s over the past couple of years. If you’ve been eager anticipating the Air Jordan 8.0 ‘Aqua’ then it’s about that time, with the sneakers officially dropping tomorrow, January 7th. You can pick yourself up a pair now from online sellers like shoejocky on eBay.

Say what you want about the hybridization of Air Jordan classics, but at least they bring the OG models more up to date from a tech standpoint. Let’s face it, if you show up to ball rocking a pair of Air Jordan VIII’s you’re not exactly getting the most of what current basketball sneaker construction has to offer. For that reason alone the Air Jordan 8.0 in the beloved ‘Aqua’ colorway is worth checking out, with the black and blue look intact on this modern take on MJ’s eighth. Follow us after the jump for a few additional views and let us know in the comments where you stand with this hybrid model, which is starting to trick in at retailers like Oneness.

The Air Jordan hybrid shoe will always be a polarizing entity for as long as the Air Jordan sneaker remains relevant. With so many purists of the sneaker game (and purists of those purists), introducing a redesigned model bearing the same name as the original is always a tough task. That same applies with automobiles and clothing – even the McDonald’s McRib Quickstrikes always seem to draw some sort of juxtaposition with the OG. October’s release of the Air Jordan 8.0 was a bit underwhelming to say the least, with all six Air Jordan 8.0 releases thus far sitting patiently on store shelves, but perhaps the ‘Aqua’ should draw some deserved attention to the shoe. Set to arrive this January, the Air Jordan 8.0 ‘Aqua’ will be a fresh new start for the Air Jordan 8.0 in more ways than one, so take a peek at these new detailed angles below and let us know what you think. via Kinetics.

If the Air Jordan VIII Aqua traveled 19 years into the future, it would see its ‘doppleganger’ in the Air Jordan 8.0. Featuring some structural upgrades like the breathable mesh panels and Flywire-laden crossing mid-foot straps, the Air Jordan 8.0 captures both the nostalgic flavor and new-age design that has been the formula for most of Jordan Brand’s non-Retro releases over the last few years. Set to release this January, 2012, the Air Jordan 8.0 ‘Aqua’ features the paint-splatter bumper that extends to the midfoot, which doubles as a spring plate for performance-friendly push. We’ve got additional images for you after the jump, so take a look and let us know if this ‘Aqua’ colorway provides some ‘umph’ to this new model.
