So all the naysayers claiming the Air Jordan XX8 was too simple and monotone have had their mouths shut today as we got a look at a plethora of amazing new graphics and concepts for Tinker’s rendition of Air Jordan Version 28.0. We’re getting a closer look at the enlarged red/black elephant print that’s taken over the entire upper shroud, so not only is it clear that elephant print will continue to be used, it’ll be larger than life. Jordan Brand celebrated the debut launch of the Air Jordan XX8 at Galleria Mall in Houston, TX with an interactive wear-test of the new shoes called the “Flight Experience”. For those who were curious enough to explore the all-new design and technology, Jordan Brand awarded them with an exclusive Air Jordan exhibit called the “Flight Deck”. Without the special wristband, entrance was not permitted! Immediately upon entering the darkened bat-cave like space, an exhibit of Air Jordan XX8 colorway concepts, the Jordan 2013 All-Star Collection, and the entire Black/Neon Collection were on display.

As promised, Jordan Brand schools UNC and Cal were the first couple of NCAA squads to break out the Air Jordan XX8 ‘Blue Camo’, which had only been seen on the feet of Russell Westbrook prior to this week. The colorway was of course a bit of a closer match for the UNC team, but Cal made them look good regardless (And even sailed to a victory over UCLA while doing so). The Air Jordan XX8 is almost here at last. The sneaker is releasing tomorrow in two separate colorways that both get caught up in black and electric green. One is the black bootie pair that only brings in electric green for the inner cushioning. The other is that night-vision themed version with the wavy green and black camo look gripping the outside. Following up Spike Lee’s ‘Knicks’ Air Jordan XX8 mismatch is a pair that links the orange and blue together in a more proper manner. The Air Jordan XX8 ‘Knicks’ shown here picks up the same theme as our recently previewed Air Jordan XX8 ‘Bulls’, one that appears to be borrowed from the Air Jordan VIII. Sneaker News is dead set on keeping you updated on all the Air Jordan XX8 colorways that are out there at the moment-the latest of which is the Air Jordan XX8 ‘Bulls’. The pair comes in a distinctly ‘Chicago’ colorway, with the graphics that are whipping around the upper looking like they were borrowed from the Air Jordan VIII midsole splatters. Before today it was looking like the graphical treatments on the Air Jordan XX8 were going to be in the minority, but recent previews like these seem to be reversing that trend.
