Okay, he’s serious this time. Michael Jordan retired for good and passed on the Air Jordan torch at XIX to some other notable NBA stars like Gary Payton, a former Nike Basketball signature athlete. The Air Jordan XIX, at that point, was the lightest Air Jordan model to date, sporting a durable weave material on the upper called Tech Flex while featuring the proven full-length Zoom Air and a carbon fiber midfoot plate. Enjoy number 19 below and stay tuned for more as we enter the final week of #XX8DaysofFlight.

The news of the entire set of the Air Jordan ‘Black/Neon’ Collection being given away was definitely music to the ears, but no Air Jordan sounded as blissful as the Air Jordan XVII. Directly inspired by Michael Jordan’s love for jazz music, the Air Jordan XVII features musical notes molded into the upper of the shoe, which played right into the grown-up businessman motif of the Air Jordan XVII original release (the shoes came with a dang briefcase). Get a load of the Air Jordan XVII from the ‘Black/Neon’ Collection below and stay tuned for more!

With all of the scrapped 2012 Air Jordan XVI samples that we’ve been showing you lately (the low-tops, the Cherrywoods, and that group shot of new colorways), you might be a bit more excited than usual to see today’s Jordan Brand #XX8DaysofFlight installment. The Air Jordan XVI is, of course, the first sneaker to be released during Michael Jordan’s Wizards comeback phase, although MJ never gave the Sixteens much mileage (he wore the Gingers a few times). If there’s a possibility of a release, you know you can keep it in tune to Sneaker News, so in the meantime, check out today’s Air Jordan of #XX8DaysofFlight and stay tuned for more.

And now we enter the post-Michael Jordan years in the Air Jordan ‘Black/Neon Green’ collection from the #XX8DaysofFlight series (For a few days at least until we hit the comeback Washington Wizards models). The first sneaker in this second leg of the group is the Air Jordan XV, which doesn’t sport the neon green tones all throughout its midsole, letting black break up things towards the middle. Let us know if you think this pair of the Air Jordan XV is a worthy addition to the sneaker’s legacy in the comments below and check back tomorrow as yet another Air Jordan joins this crazy lineup.

And we’re halfway there-the Air Jordan XIV marking the midpoint for the #XX8DaysofFlight count-up. You know the drill by now as far as the colorway is concerned. There’s black, there’s neon green, there’s only one pair in existence, and there’s a chance for you to win them by participating in the campaign on Instagram. Check back in with Sneaker News later in the day should any additional photos arrive and we’ll see you here at the same time tomorrow for the Air Jordan XV from the group.

The Air Jordan XIII is probably the single sneaker in this whole #XX8DaysofFlight lineup that’s already got a retail release that’s donned the black and neon green combination. We’re speaking of course of the Air Jordan XIII ‘Altitude’, a colorway that last had the retro treatment in 2010. This special one off from the Air Jordan ‘Black/Neon Green’ collection manages to distance itself from that pair well enough though thanks to the distribution of said green sections. Tell us if you think these beat out the ‘Atltitude’ Air Jordan XIIIs and check back tomorrow for yet another entry into the lineup.
