Air Jordan VI – Warren Sapp Oakland Raiders PE Cleats

Before their recent turnaround, the Oakland Raiders had been mismanaged so badly for a decade that a team known for its ‘Commitment to Excellence’ became one of the NFL’s laughing stocks. Randy Moss proved how much effort matters at the highest levels of competition, Jamarcus Russell dealt with more cold symptoms than any healthy young man should and Warren Sapp quietly slipped into retirement after having dominated the league during his tenure in Tampa. But even if the QB Killa didn’t live up to his Hall of Fame reputation during his time spent with the team against which he won his Super Bowl ring, that stretch in Oakland most definitely included highlight cleats. This Air Jordan VI PE in white/silver is the spiked version of a design we’d seen a little over a year ago with a more turf-oriented cleat design, this Raiders-colored 14.5 utilizing the familiar ‘Shark’ sole that we’ve seen evolve along with Nike Football over the years. Check them out in greater detail below, let us know if you foresee a Raiders playoff bid in the future and stick with Sneaker News for more rare Air Jordan player exclusives like these Warren Sapp AJ6 Cleats available now from jenswi13 on eBay.

Air Jordan XIII Cleats – Available on eBay

Earlier this year, the Air Jordan XIII ‘Playoffs’ finally re-issued after nearly fourteen years of quietude. But do these Air Jordan XIII Cleats count? Back in 2004, when the Air Jordan XIII made its first Retro appearance, Jordan Brand dropped a cleated version of the Air Jordan XIII in Black/White-Red; although not exactly the ‘Playoffs’, since it doesn’t have the white midsole or the yellow ring around the Jumpman on the tongue, these cleats are a very close bet to the OG. The 2011 release of the Playoffs was certainly one of the best of the year (the quality of the XIIIs was rather impressive), but here’s a chance to own the cleated version – perfect if you play on your school’s football team, or if you just live in a really grassy region. We’ve got another look for you below, so take a peek at hit up the auction from kobik65 on eBay.

UPDATE: The NFLPA decertified this past Friday with the intention of players filing suit against the NFL owners who locked them out when CBA bargaining went south, but even if there’s no NFL season in 2011, Houston Texans wideout Andre Johnson is gonna get paid.  The Texans might be a perennially mediocre team but Johnson is a spectacular talent and currently holds the league’s career record for receiving yards per game, a superstar status that’s cemented by his allegiance with Jordan BrandJB’s latest football star joins the colorful Terrell Owens among others under the Jumpman umbrella and we can’t wait to see all the different Air Jordan cleats he’ll break out, if the two sides ever come to an agreement.  Click through to see Johnson rocking the Air Jordan Alpha Trunner along with some new JB receiver gloves and stick with Sneaker News for more on Jordan Brand’s NFL contingent.

collections air jordan pes spursniperseven Collections: Air Jordan PEs SpurSniperSeven

In an era when PEs are frequently sold at House of Hoops, this collection right here manages to go above and beyond, reminding us of a time when kicks like these really were ‘player exclusives’.  Check out this impressive run of Air Jordan PEs, a collection that runs the gamut from Air Jordans IX to XXII with plenty of heat in between.  Some of these like Chris Paul’s AJV and VIIIs we’d seen in away editions here on Sneaker News, but the home joints are a revelation right along with more obscure looks like Gary Payton’s Air Jordan II in the ‘MPLS Lakers’ colorway and former teammate Vin Baker’s Nines.  Toss in some football-modded looks for Deion Sanders, Randy Moss and Donovan McNabb and this is a can’t miss collection so click through to see more and let us know which pair you’d pick to start your own Air Jordan player exclusive anthology. Thanks gettinit247 !
