Four games into Round 1, and the picture depicting the NBA Champions are a bit more clear. For one, it’s not orange and blue, thanks to a four-game sweep at the hands of the Boston Celtics. Carmelo debuted the ‘Home’ colorway of the Jordan Melo M7 Advance, Amare Stoudemire finally revealed a new PE of the Zoom Huarache TR Mid in a blazing orange and white colorway, and Jermaine O’neal wore a Black/Green colorway of the Nike Hypershox 2011. Is the championship picture White, Red, and Yellow? It could be, but the Sixers avoided their own 0-4 sweep by winning Game 4, giving us at least one more opportunity to get a look at the LeBron 8 P.S. Black/Sport Red and D-Wade’s Jordan Fly Wade in the Away PE version. Atlanta got closer to pulling off an upset, as the Hawks took a 3-1 lead in their series with Orlando. The sneaker highlights included Gilbert Arenas’ Nike Air Go LWP, Q-Rich’s Jordan Play In These PE, and Joe Johnson’s Jordan Prime 5. The Bulls still hold a strong 3-1 lead, but an injury to Derrick Rose paired with the Pacers intensified play could change that series.
Out West, Zach Randolph proved that he was worth every penny by hitting a key three-pointer at the end of the game to give the 8-seed Grizzlies a surprising 2-1 lead against the San Antonio Spurs. Kevin Durant, who had been wearing the Zoom KD III ‘POP’ for the first two games, sported a new colorway of the Zoom KD III en route to a win in Game against the Nuggets. One of the more interesting match-ups has been the Blazers/Mavericks series, currently tied at two games a piece; LaMarcus Aldridge wore the Silver/Red PE colorway of the Air Max Hyperdunk 2010, but we should see the second Playoff version soon. The Lakers/Hornets match-up has been a good one as well, and so have the sneakers! We got a look at a new PE colorway of the Nike Hyperfuse 2011 on Lamar Odom as well as a Jordan CP3.IV Home PE. The First Round of the Playoffs are at a halfway point so check out the full recap of the games from the last three nights below! via Yahoo!.

For ‘Flash’ to stay flashy, he needs some light basketball shoes. Say ‘hello’ to the Air Jordan Fly Wade, Jordan Brand’s lightest performance basketball shoe ever created. Sneaker News gave you a firsthand look at the media unveiling of the first Jordan Brand x Dwyane Wade signature shoe, and the Fly Wade is already seeing positive results as Dwyane and the Miami Heat are sitting pretty at 3-0 in their series against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Fly Wade boasts a number of technological advances aside from the super-lightweight advantages, like the no-sew heat-bonded upper construction and Zoom x Max Air combination for the cushioning. This Black/Varsity Red-Dark Grey colorway isn’t set for a release until next Saturday, but grab a pair right now for under retail from footsoldiers on eBay.

The Air Jordan Fly Wade has yet to debut on an NBA court, but it is likely to happen soon if the Miami Heat can continue its winning ways. After taking a 2-0 lead over the Philadelphia 76ers, Dwyane Wade and the Heat are cool, calm, and collected, and will likely advance to the second round where they will face either the Boston Celtics or the New York Knicks, two teams that the Miami Heat had a tough go with during the season. The Air Jordan Fly Wade will certainly help Wade to victory, as it is the lightest Jordan Brand basketball shoe ever created. Check out these new detailed images of the two June 2011 colorways and let us know which one of the two you like better. via in52.

Now up 3-0 in their first round match-up with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Miami Heat are one step closer to Championship glory. Jordan Brand athleteDwyane Wade, the unofficial leader of the Big Three (and head orchestrator of bringing in LeBron and Bosh), exploded for 32 points and 8 assists while wearing this sweet new PE colorway of the Air Jordan Fly Wade. It features a black upper with a red secondary trim, yellow accents, and an eye-catching translucent outsole. These are similar to an upcoming Air Jordan Fly Wade colorway we showed you not long ago, so perhaps Wade was sporting an upcoming GR and not a PE. Check out an additional shot below as well as a few in-game shots of Wade and his Fly Wades and let us know what you think!
