AIR JORDAN II The Air Jordan II was released in 1986 as the second sneaker in Michael Jordan’s line with Nike. Like its predecessor the model was led by designers Bruce Kilgore and Peter Moore, this time coming with a much more unique creation that toned down the Swoosh branding quite a bit. The sneakers were famously originally produced in Italy, boasting fine leather construction for a more luxurious feel.

Air Jordan II Low – Mike Bibby Sacramento Kings ‘Away’ PE

air jordan ii low mike bibby away pe 1 Air Jordan II Low Mike Bibby Sacramento Kings Away PE

Many, if not all, of the Air Jordan Player Exclusives we’ve seen over the years include a special embroidering that features the player’s nickname, like Sugar Ray, Nook, Q-Rich, and so forth. Mike Bibby, however, was the first to feature his own logo on his Air Jordan PEs – the ‘TD’ that serves as an on-foot shout-out to his Team Dime crew. We’ve seen it present in most of his PEs, but none are as obvious like the one seen in this Air Jordan II Low, which features his ’1Z’ and ‘TD’ logo on the upper. This Air Jordan II Low PE is certainly one of the older ones we’ve seen thus far as it features a black/purple finish to match Bibby’s SacTown uniform, so take a look at this crisp Player Exclusive below and get in on the bidding action in this listing from cnoriega_2007 on eBay.

Ray Allen’s got a penchant for ’3s’, but he wouldn’t be averse to rocking the IIs here and there. Here’s a look at an ‘Away’ Player Exclusive of the Air Jordan II made for the three-point king; it features a full black nubuck upper with a glossy mudguard panel on the upper, pre-dating the similar Black/White QF release of October 2010. These arrived on Ray’s doorsteps roughly one year after the magnificent trade that brought the Big Three (and an NBA ‘chip) to Boston, but as we know, Ray graduated to the popular XIII PE later on. While these don’t own the distinction of being game-worn, these are, however, autographed by Ray on both toe-boxes! Peep the gallery below, because they’re available now from the.warehouse on eBay.

fat joe air jordan 1 v 6 Fat Joe Shows Off Air Jordans 1 Through V

Fat Joe was recently crowned as one of the twenty-five greatest sneakerhead celebrities of all-time, but if that list had a hard ranking, there’s no question that Joe would be, at the very least, in the Top 5. Fat Joe’s been stashing kicks for years (some of you may remember his infamous sole-licking scene in MTV Cribs), and he recently decided to show off, through Twitter, some of his Air Jordans (as well as his rudimentary counting abilities). One pair of Air Jordan 1s, two pairs of IIs, three IIIs, a quartet of IVs, and a starting line-up of Vs make up fifteen total pairs in this small peek into his massive collection. Check out Fat Joe‘s Air Jordans after the jump and let us know which of the fifteen he posted you like best!

Pivot by diffeducation – MJ 2.5 Boots

September 29th, 2011 by | 31 comments

pivot diff air jordan ii summary Pivot by diffeducation MJ 2.5 Boots

A Bathing Ape and Gourmet’s done it before – tweaking classic Air Jordan models and creating new sneakers using the original silhouettes as the base. You can see the glass as half-empty and call it blatant plagiarism, or see it in a more optimistic light and consider it an homage to the Air Jordan line. The Pivot by diffeducation collection of MJ Boots will definitely raise a few eyebrows, but you have to admit – the shoes are kinda cool. You might remember the first time we showed you the Pivot by diffeducation MJ 1.5 Boot, which utilized the Air Jordan 1 upper with a hiking-boot outsole; the MJ 2.5 Boot utilizes a different style of boot outsole, using the Air Jordan II and Air Jordan II Low for the ’2.5′. Check out both the Mid and Low after the jump and let us know what you think of these funky boots, and check out Flauge for overseas pre-orders.

Air Jordan II Retro – Gerald Wallace Game-Worn PE Signed by Eduardo Najera

gerald wallace jordanII pe 11 Air Jordan II Retro Gerald Wallace Game Worn PE Signed by Eduardo Najera

Ever caught (or bought) a baseball at a game and tried to get your favorite superstar to sign it, only to find that it’s far easier to get access to the guys who aren’t actually playing?  That’s kinda like what happened here, so fitting that the shoe in question was one of Michael Jordan’s signatures: the Air Jordan II in a Gerald Wallace player exclusive colorway.  These were crafted for GW3 before he was shipped out of Charlotte, and apparently he left them behind to former teammate Eduardo Najera.  Now here’s where it gets goofy: Najera signed the game-worn PE, his own number Sharpied right alongside the ‘#3′ PE markings, and sold them for, get this, a mere $25 bucks during an event this past summer.  Seems like a steal, even if it is a shoe signed by a guy who never wore them; would you have laid out the cash to grab them?  via Complex
