LeBron in Jordans? He hasn’t been spotted on court in a Jordan Brand creation since back in high school thanks to the bountiful Nike Basketball designs bearing his own name, but the man can still be spotted in MJ’s during his downtime. It appears that the recent Miami Heat W over Toronto was one of the times in which he opted for a retro pair. Pictured here is Bron post-game with the universally beloved Air Jordan 3 “Black/Cement” on feet (We’re pretty sure that’s a recent Givenchy hoodie too if you’re trying to keep track of the whole outfit). See the full flick below and give us your reactions down in the comments section.

trinidad james mis match air jordan Trinidad James Mix and Matches Air Jordan III Fire Red and Black/Cement

Trinidad James already has the Air Jordan III “Fire Red” that’s coming out this weekend. Well, we know that he has the left shoe at the very least. The rapper recently took to the stage in Jordans once again, this time pairing up two separate pairs of the Air Jordan III while jumping around furiously on stage. If you were to ever do the mist-match thing though, do you think that maybe the more direct inverse “White/Cement” colorway might be a better choice? Tell us down in the comments and stay tuned to see what TJ does next in terms of Jordan wears.

Air Jordan III “Black Python” for Wale by JBF Customs

black python wale jordan iii 5 Air Jordan III Black Python for Wale by JBF Customs

Apparently one Air Jordan III custom from JBF just wasn’t enough for Wale. Shown here is another pair that was whipped up for the rapper, this one utilizing the Air Jordan III “Black/Cement” as its base. The sneakers keep the sacred elephant print sections intact, while remixing just about every other surface across the upper. As per usual, the python pair also goes for a supreme treatment on the lining, where a dose of supple lambskin can be found. Take a better look at the “Black Python” Air Jordan III for Wale from JBF’s “Incomparable” series and tell us how they match up against the white pair.

Air Jordan III – Black/Cement Nubuck Sample | Available on eBay

air jordan iii suede sample 1 Air Jordan III Black/Cement Nubuck Sample | Available on eBay

We’ve witnessed quite a number of instances during which the sneaker community went up in arms regarding a certain amount of discrepancies when it comes to Retro releases. The White/Cement IV, for example, was under heavy scrutiny for months up until the release, despite it being a tit-for-tat reproduction of the original. That’s just the nature of the fastidious sneakerhead that demands perfection, so it’s safe to say that if last year’s Black Friday release of the Air Jordan III Black/Cement did in fact come out as nubuck, things would not have been very pretty. Not to say that a pair of AJ3s done up in nubuck would’ve been a bad idea (in fact, it would be rather interesting), but the Black/Cement III is generally viewed as an all-time classic that needs no sort ‘remastering’. Nonetheless, we’ve got a detailed look at the infamous Air Jordan Black/Cement nubuck sample here, so take a good look and cop them for yourself from depeche23mode on eBay.
