That’s three Air Jordan III Retro releases to hit stores in February, but if you either missed out on the Retro ’88 or decided to pass on the Jokers, The Bright Crimson joints are ready to release tomorrow. Some new details regarding this sneaker is that there is in fact reflective paneling on the upper, giving these a ‘Doerbecher III’ like appeal. Some recent good news in the Air Jordan news front revealed that the Air Jordan III Retro ’88 will indeed release in GS sizes. That was certainly a relief for the size 7-and-under crowd, but if you happen to miss out the release, you can count on the Bright Crimson joints to hit stores in small sizes as well. This detailed gallery of this February 23rd release sheds light on the Canyon Purple tint on the ridges of the elephant print, but no connection with same Canyon Purple in the 2013 All-Star Pack of Jordan Brand shoes is confirmed. So last night’s breaking news regarding the upcoming Air Jordan III with Nike Air on the heel caught the attention of the sneaker community rather swiftly, with responses to this exciting turn of events being surprisingly mixed. What we expected to be praise across the board, some of our readers pointed out that the ‘Nike Air’ controversy isn’t really that much of a big deal, while others were completely psyched at a re-release of White/Cements on its own. The Air Jordan III releases in 2011 is what started the entire original box trend that continued with this year’s AJ4 droppings and next year’s Air Jordan V. Little did we know that the actual shoe would make a comeback as well! After a 23rd anniversary year in 2011 that saw the return of three of four original colorways, the Air Jordan III conceded ’12 to its immediate successor. The Three returns next year with at least two new styles, one of which happens to look a little like an OG Air Jordan VII that released earlier this year. And if it hadn’t been for the ‘Raptors’ Sevens, this purple-accented ‘Bright Crimson’ Air Jordan 3 might have earned a Canadian nickname itself for the connection to Toronto’s NBA colors. Over the last two weeks, we’ve received an influx of updates on this upcoming February 2013 Retro release of the Air Jordan III. If you think you’ve got all the details covered, here are a few more updates that you might not have been aware of; this upcoming Retro release will come accompanied by the OG-inspired hang-tag (which is rather odd considering Bright Crimson is hardly an OG colorway), and extra Bright Crimson laces will be attached as well.
