Is that the Air Jordan III ’88 on the feet of Ludacris? There’s unfortunately no telling since all we’ve got are frontal shots, but we’d like to think that Luda got his hands on that “Nike Air” equipped sneaker. The rapper/actor is shown here at a media event from Fast & Furious 6 (Yes, they made six of those movies). Continue reading to see the whole gallery of shots on Ludacris bringing out this crispy pair of the Air Jordan III “White/Cement” and make sure you give us your thoughts in the comments on the always-controversial inclusion of the hang-tag on his footwear.

A$AP Rocky is the kind of guy who isn’t afraid to shout out sneakers in his lyrics. Most of the time though he’s talking about a pair of Jeremy Scott adidas or some high end stuff that costs a car payment. Ending up just a little bit more pedestrian, Rocky shows up here with the Air Jordan III on feet in the white/cement colorway. Right by his side Swizz Beatz holds up the high end, wearing some green paisley business from Givenchy. Get the full images of these New York hip-hop figures in their fancy footwear right after the jump.

At this point you can’t really ignore Mark Wahlberg’s sneaker game given how often the actor has been popping up in random Jordan Brand retros. This time he was spotted with a certified classic on feet-the Air Jordan III ‘White/Cement’, that pair that saw a retro release just a couple years ago and that will be back next week. Which brings up the question: is this the anticipated Air Jordan III ’88 on his feet? He’s definitely a friend of the Jordan Brand family so we wouldn’t consider it too surprising if Wahlberg already had his hands on a pair. Continue reading for the shots of Mark Wahlberg in the Air Jordan III ‘White/Cement’ and tell us your thoughts below.

Don’t consider the return of the Air Jordan III ‘White/Cement’ in just two years such a surprise, because it’s clear that Jordan Brand will jump at any available opportunity. Need a reminder? In 2010, we were graced with the Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’ in the ‘For the Love of the Game‘ edition, and just two years later, the Olympic VII hit stores again. This return of the White/Cement III also comes with a slight branding alteration, with Nike Air now donning the heel (as well as the insole and the hang-tag). Are these already the must-have Air Jordan release of the Spring 2013 season, or are your 2011 Retros holding you down?

The ‘White/Cement’ colorway of the Air Jordan III got a bit shafted around the turn of the century retros timeline wise, showing up a few years after its black counterpart in 2001 and hence not donning the Nike Air on the back. Thus if you are after a pair featuring that badge of age you gotta turn the clock back even further, with this 1994 version being the last time the sneakers arrived in that form. Click through with us to check out the Air Jordan III ‘White/Cement’ from almost twenty years ago still looking pretty crispy and bid on this pair right now from sc_cmac_nt on eBay.
