nikestore air jordan restock srping 2014 A Full List of Air Jordan Retros Planned for Nikestores Spring 2014 Restock

This weekend was an interesting one on Nikestore – Saturday morning’s combination of Air Jordan 11 Lows and the “Yeezy” Foamposite Pro threw a bit of a wrench in the online retailer for the day, and thus the Nikestore Air Jordan restock for Spring 2014 was postponed. But when 10AM EST, the scheduled time for the restock, did arrive, all of the shoes popped up anyway – but as far as we can tell no customers were able to add to cart. What we know now thanks to that little gaffe is which sneakers will be available when the restock does go down, and all of those models are gathered for you here. Continue reading to see which Air Jordans will restock from Nikestore for Spring 2014 (Keep in mind that these will be full size runs unlike the Eastbay/Foot Locker one) and stay tuned to find out if a new date will be set or if Nikestore will be more spontaneous this time around.

Nikestore Restock of Jordans Postponed

April 19th, 2014 by | 54 comments

nikestore restock jordans postponed Nikestore Restock of Jordans Postponed

Last night, the official Nikestore Twitter account laid out a rather obvious hint regarding a restock of Jordan products. Among these coveted styles were the Air Jordan 1 “Bred”, Air Jordan 1 “Royal”, Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue”, Air Jordan 3 ’88, and much more. The restock would go down this morning at 10 AM, and although what products would be available was never revealed, a horde of eager buyers lined up on online to capture what goodies would be in store. However, prior to the 10 AM restock, Nikestore released two big items – the Yeezy Foams and the low-top Air Jordan 11s; those two releases proved to be too much for Nike to handle, and thus the online release of the launch products were postponed.

In addition to the postponed release of the Foams and AJ11s, Nike chose to postpone the announced 10AM restock of Air Jordans. What’s interesting is that at the scheduled 10 AM time, all of the restocked Jordans were up on Nikestore, although no product was available to be added to the shopping cart. Apparently, twenty-three different Air Jordans were intended to be up for sale, but as of now, the restock, as well as the release of the Yeezy Foams and Air Jordan 11 Low, has been postponed indefinitely (Although it appears a small minority were able to get through – and those orders will be honored.

This brings up a new topic of discussion: Are announced restocks of any benefit? If the masses can anticipate such a pivotal event, it is likely that a larger number of hopeful buyers would show up and eventually clog up the shopping channel and force Nike to close up shop. Would you rather Nike drop these random releases unannounced, like last year’s big restock or the release of the Red Yeezy 2s? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates on the pending release of today’s launch products and the restock.

One of the more celebrated Retro Jordan models is undoubtedly the Air Jordan 3, but this year’s collection of new colorways is a sure test to those who call it the best of all-time. The upcoming “Wolf Grey” colorway, seen here in GS sizes, isn’t too far removed from the original Chicago Bulls make-ups we’re used to seeing, only these are lacking that captive red that give it that character. Still, the clean mix of grey, black, and silver seems too hard to turn away, and once we confirm the release date, we’re certain these will be one of the more chased-after sneakers of the year. Be sure to stay tuned for updated release info on these Jordan shoes, so in the meantime, check out the extra photo below for another look.

Wolf Grey played a key role in this past weekend’s ‘Birmingham Barons’ Jordans and it looks like 2014 will be a big year in general for this neutral shade.  It’s covering most of the ‘Sport Blue’ XIVs set to drop in August, as well as appearing in both starring and supporting roles on the III.  This pair pictured above would be the dominant use, the ‘Wolf Grey’ Air Jordan 3 coming off as a lighter answer to last year’s ‘Fear Pack’ pair.  Click in to get a closer look at this kids’ sized style and stick with Sneaker News for a release date.

Michael Jordan’s retirement from basketball in 1993 was as unexpected as any in sports history. The three-time defending NBA Champion and undisputed greatest player in the world chose to leave the game while he was at his peak, and according to his autobiography, Jordan was considering leaving the game as early as the summer of ’92. MJ made his professional baseball debut exactly twenty years ago next Tuesday, and Jordan Brand will celebrate the occasion with a couple of Birmingham Barons colorways releasing on Saturday.

Those pairs hearken back to the very first Air Jordan baseball cleats, which were MCS-soled Jordan IXs, and from there, it was only a matter of time before some of MLB’s biggest names would begin to take the field in player exclusive Jordan spikes. So with this being MLB’s Opening Week and the 20th anniversary of the the first Air Jordan baseball cleats right around the corner, let’s take a look back at some of the most notable Jordan player exclusives to ever appear on a baseball diamond in this edition of Sneaker News NINE@NINE.
